Annah provided exceptional service and was very attentive and kind to our large party! Food is decent for a touristy spot. The 'security' to get into the restaurant is unnecessarily aggressive, accusing us of hiding alcohol in a wagon where kids were sitting. We had nothing to hide and security seemed disappointed that we were willing to go inside and purchase overpriced drinks. They also seemed pretty annoyed that we did in-fact have reservations lol. It felt very much like they were looking for any reason to turn us away. If I was in a bind and needed food, I would eat here again. But it would not be my top choice based on the interactions to get in the door.

I cannot remember at time where my wife and I were treated so well. Our server G, could not have been better, nicer or more attentive. Both shift managers came to our table to make sure everything was up to their standards, Ballards went above and beyond. The one negative, we moved to the bar after dinner, order two drinks that came to $26, gave the server, not G, $40.00 and never received change. Oversight I am sure. Added bonus, was the live music. We will be back for sure!

Annah was our server. We sat outside on the covered patio at sunset. The food was amazing but Annah and the staff treated us like family. We loved our dinner, the beautiful patio, the acoustic music inside, our beverages... everything! Gold star!

Fabulous location, food and service O ur server “G” was THE BEST server that we have had in recent memory! Outstanding service, personality and professionaism. I can not say enough regarding the success of our trip in large part due to her attentive service!!!! Highly recommend!

Out of this world experience from the second the host welcomed us to leaving the restaurant. The staff and management went out of there way to be sure that all of our needs were taken care of. Absolutely would recommend to anyone that wants to go to dinner in a fun energetic environment with amazing workers and food!

It's a great venue, lots of fun, the wait staff was excellent, especially Arie. However, the food was awful. The lobster roll was totally dry, a cheeseburger was cold, the salmon was slimy. 
Service was great. Our waitress Katrina was very friendly and attentive. The manager was also kind and attentive. But I will say the quality of food was average (at best) and the price did the not reflect the quality. We enjoyed our time and the staff but I felt no satisfaction from the food. Also thought it was strange to serve entrees in a frying pan.

So good for family, Young dates, music outside patip+ bar, many beach bars+ tables. Many flavors of drinks. I hope people ask about the history of artifacts, and music in the inside late eve that used to Happen, near inside bar!. Great times. All should enjoy to be there.

This is the biggest and most sophisticated restaurant in the island. With indoor and outdoor dining and access to beach. Plenty of food selection and bar on site. Foods are overall good but our fishes were undercooked. Manager Michael took immediate action to correct this.

We did not eat at Ballards. However the live band we saw on Saturday 6-21-25 and Sunday 6-22-25 was fantastic and kicked the old school beets ranging from Sublime, to Green day, Fleetwood Mack, to Disco and yes even Taylor Swift, they Rocked the beach. Now for the incredible, clean, white sand smooth well groomed and clean beach. The water was blue green and cold, cold enough to knock the wind out of you, however, if you keep moving your body will acclimate and you will soon begin to heal your skin, eyes, inflammation in the body, and soul . The fresh air is what you would expect from an Island 17 miles into the Atlantic Ocean, cleaned our lungs and cleared our minds of prior misfortune events. The bartenders and waiting staff were engaging, enjoyable to be around and hard working . Patrons from all ages were respectful and all enjoyed the positive vibes. We look forward to our next trip to Block Island, a drink, great music and chilled Vibe at Ballard's Beach Resort. HOOAH!
