As with most places on Block Island, this place is all about the views and the vibes but man, I just wish I didn’t have to pay $30-$40 for unseasoned food that seemed to come directly out of a plastic bag. And, unfortunately, the drinks were also not fresh (strawberry mule tasted like the strawberry was poured from a kids’ juice box). Sigh, the price of paradise.

We have been to the beach head several times over the last few years. We are block island visitors by boat for over 20. We have experienced every restaurant on the island and this is the most consistent, fresh delicious food on the island. There is a good selection including lots of local seafood all reasonably priced. The icing on this cake of a place is location/view and Dustin our favorite bartender!! Go you will not be disappointed

Great food, the lobster mac and cheese was actually huge, which is not something I was expecting. The clams casino was also great, my fiancée had the melonade and said it was very tasty. I don't drink, but they did have Heineken 0.0 which is the gold medal for N/A's

My first time on Block Island. Spent my 4th anniversary 8/27 with my fiancee checking out shops and hanging out on the beach. I did some GOOGLING for what we may want for dinner and these seemed like the place. Not one thing was bad. The staff were kind and polite. Service was quick. The appetizer and entrée were amazing. I am a picky eater but I tried a few new things and everything was amazing. If or when we go back to Block Island we will come back. I would highly recommend people try them out!

We didn't eat here, but the best Mudslides around!
We normally LOVE the Beachhead, but this season I have a couple of notes: the grilled hotdog bun provided as bread with the mussels feels like a cop-out. It is also disappointing to ask to sit as a double where there are five open four-tops and being told no, and having to sit in the wind only to look over later and sure-enough see that several doubles have then been allowed to sit at those same four-tops.

The hot lobster roll is the best on the island. Hot buttered lobster chunks and a toasted brioche bun! The seafood nachos are also a must. Stacey was a pleasure and very helpful with suggestions.

Everyone was really nice and accommodating. My son's act like a couple of loons and they were pretty cool with it. I got the Cajun Tuna Steak Sandwich, it was the right level of spiciness and tasted great. I really loved the pasta salad that came with it.
