I walked in stressed, lactose intolerant, and spiritually lost—and left with a cone of Phish Food and a newfound sense of purpose. The flavor options are endless and oddly philosophical (why is “Americone Dream” so patriotic? Why does “The Tonight Dough” make me believe in late-night comedy again?).
Customer service? Impeccable. I dropped my sample spoon, and within seconds, a scoop angel appeared with a fresh one like some frozen dessert guardian. It was like being cared for by the United Nations of Ice Cream.
The only danger is that you will leave wanting to try seven more flavors and possibly with a tattoo that says “Chunky Monkey 4 Life.”
10/10 would recommend. Bring a spoon and a therapist, just in case.

Stopped by the Ben & Jerry’s shop on Block Island. The male employee was super friendly and helpful—when I asked about cup sizes, he explained the smaller size would be filled above the rim, which helped us decide. My partner was served by him and got two generous scoops as described. I, on the other hand, was helped by the female employee, who was noticeably less friendly and only gave me one small scoop in the same size cup. The inconsistency in portions and attitude was disappointing, especially for a well-known brand. The ice cream itself was great, but the experience was not.

Typical B&J's. About 30 different flavors. Lots of choices for cones or cups, etc. clean and staff is friendly. Some indoor seating but I did not see any outdoor seats.

You don't often find Ben & Jerry's ice cream stores in Europe — we're used to getting it at grocery stores in the usual pints, and honestly, I'm not a big fan. But WOW! The ice cream here, scooped fresh from those big tubs, is absolutely delicious!

The coconut 7 layer bar ice cream was incredible. That being said, they should really stay open later. The last two nights we went at 9pm to find Ben and Jerry's closed and the other two ice cream shops with 30 minute long lines out the door. Why a seasonal business would close so early and forgo so much business is not understandable.
They have one gluten free flavor but aren’t able to serve it to celiacs because the line is cross contaminated and the freezer is too cold for them to serve out of a fresh container.
