Two sixty-something's arrived on time for our reservations on a Friday evening in early September. We were seated on the rear patio, almost at the very end, at a location wherein we were near the rear entrance to the kitchen....with the sites and sounds of staff in and out. To get here, we passed MULTIPLE empty tables, The only other couple beyond us was another senior couple. Why the old people in the lousy seats....age discrimination?? Cocktails were Blackberry Martine and Pear & Sage Martini....nicely done and full to the brim. We had sesame tuna and watermelon salad as appetizers, with which we were pleased, though the salad was a cut above the tuna. Entrees were salmon, which was noteworthy for its size and preparation. The cioppino was ample in size, though its broth was short on flavor. Server Gokhan, who became our second server just minutes after the first took the cocktail order, was at times, missing in action. He never dropped by to see how the meals were, and frankly, we skipped dessert because we grew frustrated and tired waiting for the dessert menu. Prices were in keeping with the location and fare, though with the poor service and questionable age discrimination related to seating, the overall experience was only average.

Love the new location at Manisses Inn. Beautiful outdoor garden dining w a fountain and white lights. Enjoyed watching the sunset while savoring the best food on the island! Service was great!

Delicious food with options for everyone (including kids & non-meat eaters); the freshest veggies you will find (all grown right there on the farm: proper farm-to-table restaurant).Also it is without doubt the best location for a food truck, right next to the award-winning animal farm and gardens.Locally-owned business with a focus on locally-sourced items; a MUST for lunch if you are on-island.

We had another excellent meal here at Bar and Block Whiteley, we were well looked after by Garry and Mel. The food is always high quality and the steak is delicious, topped off with a couple of cocktails from the 2 for 1 menu made for a lovely evening again.

Stopped in for a drink before heading to the Barn at Springhouse. The service was excellent, very helpful and kind. More so than the Springhouse. Drinks at the Bar were very good. There aren't many choices on the island for well made cocktails. The oyster bar would rank near the best on the island. We would definitely try dinner here next stop.

We had a wonderful dinner. Service was excellent. Food was wonderful. Watermelon champagne mignonette with oysters was great. I had miso cod with forbidden rice and coconut curry roasted corn and edamame succotash. My wife had little neck clams on linguini. Outstanding food. Setting was nice, elegant yet casual and unique with outside and inside seating. One tip - took us a few tries to find the restaurant. GPS didn’t work well. It is in/ below Hotel Manisses…stairs down to restaurant off right end of hotel porch. We enjoyed the evening and we’re glad we found this place.
I loved it. The food was awesome everything about it was perfect. 10/10 would recommend!

Had wonderful dinner Saturday night. Owner Kimberly was treating us like my mom would treat friends who came over my house for dinner. Made sure everyone was well cared for and food was good. And it was Great service great atmosphere

This seems to be a typical pub -- the drinks and food as well as service were just average. Also, the seating is super crowded on the deck. Not recommended if you're looking for a spot to feel more "spread out" for COVID social distancing.
