We love Block Island Oyster Bar ! I recommend it . Food is consistent. Ambiance is lovely. So much history in the building . And of course Kimberly is usually there hosting and making everyone feel wonderful . I always make it our destination when we come to the Block .
Thankfully we were blessed with perfect weather to dine al fresco. Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food. Highly recommend the caviar with the oysters and The Lazyman Lobster! The key lime pie was also one of the best I’ve ever had!
Appetizers arrived prior to cocktail order which had been made 15 minutes before. Seems as though an additional bartender is needed. 2 of us order Ed the lazy man lobster which was supposedly sautéed in citrus butter, which you could not taste at all, vpbasically lobster with stuffing on top. Needed a wedge of lemon when served in addition of some lemon zest, etc to make that taste come through. Have eaten here numerous times over the past serveral decades and feel as though...
