The products are delicious however the older woman that serves behind the counter was extremely rude and unpleasant. My child wanted multiple items and we were rushed along even though there wasn’t anyone else in the shop. I come here on a yearly basis and have never dealt with this woman before and due to her terrible attitude we will not be returning and instead spend our money across the street.

The fudge was pretty ok. There is a nice selection of flavors. The place is small and dated and the service wasn’t too friendly. Try the place across the street for better fudge and friendly staff.

Very poor atmosphere trumping the quality of the product. Was there today (6/25/24) and was (not) greeted by the store attendant. Didn't get the name but the owner should seriously consider getting rid of this woman/girl! Very rude and dismissive. Was told as we carried a remnant coffee in to "leave it outside." Where exactly? No "hello." No "can I help you?" Was looking at the options and got the hands-in-the-air gesture as though saying; "can you hurry it up!" Clearly she either doesn't want to be "bothered" with customers while "working" or it was personal? Either way, terrible employee and very poor ambassador for Blocks of Fudge. Should have returned what I bought. Won't be back/don't recommend while this poor excuse is behind the counter but possibly willing(?) to give another try if the staff is at least slightly pleasant...

After reading some of the review saying that the owner was rude or unfriendly I wasn't sure if I wanted to come in, but I'm glad I did. First off, the owner WAS NOT rude. She's honestly really nice. She has a good sense of humor and is a little sarcastic and maybe some less intelligent folk mistake that for rudeness. She's honestly very sweet and knowledgeable. Made some great suggestions for fudge as we reminisced about old words and old candies kids wouldn't recognize anymore.

Good fudge, bad customer service. The cashier, an older women, snatched my debit card back from me before I could even sign my receipt. She tried downplaying it as “routine” to have the customer sign first. But no other cashiers, clerks or waitstaff during my stay here on the island were ever physical with me.
What an amazing experience. Amazing fudge with a wonderful welcoming hospitality! I go here every time I’m on Block Island. Such a friendly owner!!

I wish I bought more!! The bourbon maple bacon was soo good ?. I was skeptical at first as I stick to a simpler flavors, but wow!! The bacon was crispy and the two flavors of fudge complemented each other nicely. I will definitely come back to get more when I’m in the area.

Sheila and Ryann are equally as awesome as all the cool candy in that store. They keep visitors coming back year after year. I’ve never even been a fudge fan but I love Sheilas fudge.

Homemade Fudge and sweets too. Great Fudge, nice display selection in big blocks! Ordered Turtle and Cookie Dough fudge. Not 100% sure if the Cookie Dough fudge was mislabeled...it tasted more like Whopper Malt Ball Candy than Cookie Dough, but it was still delish! :) Would recommend :) :) :) :)
