We enjoyed our special Waldorf salad to start. We split it and the kitchen was nice enough to serve it on two plates. Entrees were tasty: I had a blackened swordfish with goat cheese; excellent combination. Our only complaint was that the meal seemed a bit rushed. When we were done with our main courses the waitress brought over the check. No discussion about dessert or after dinner drinks, which we would have enjoyed. The place was not full, so really no excuse for a 50 minute...
Likely the best restaurant on Block. Our server Ethan was great and the calamari app was hands down the best this 61 year old has ever had, and that's saying a lot. My sirloin au poivre was done perfectly medium rare and my wife's swordfish was the bomb. Keep up the great work Kimberly!
I'd say this restaurant deserves 4.5 stars. The bread & oil were delicious, but there wasn't a gluten free bread option. The mussels were 5*! The bouillabaisse and pan-seared salmon had delicious flavors, but were both slightly overcooked. Serving sizes are generous & the relaxed, unrushed atmosphere is fantastic. There weren't any gluten free or homemade desserts, and the key lime pie was mediocre. The service was great. I would definitely go back.. with...
