By far the most disappointing lobster roll lunches we ever had on Block Island. The rolls were burned. The lobster meat had shells from the lobster in it. The chips that came with them are homemade according to the owner. But they were stale and soggy. If I had to guess I would say the chips were made days prior to our lunch. What are they thinking? Go elsewhere if you want to have a decent lobster roll at a better price.

Food was eh. Told 20 minutes for food to come out and ended up being an hour. Several other people were told same and waited way too long. Not going back. And we placed order @1:45pm so not a lunch rush.

We stumbled upon Lobster Craft, which shares a kitchen with The Cracked Mug (another highly recommended spot for breakfast and coffee that has moved this year!) and we were blown away! Our crew got:- NE Clam Chowder- best we have found so far on the island.- Heat Wave- absolutely dynamite. Different take on a lobster roll, with a subtly spicy edge. Lobster was cooked perfectly and so tender and flavorful!- Grilled Mahi Sandwich- delicious! Cooked perfectly, and nice and light, yet somehow filling. Also came with homemade chips that we devoured.- Chicken fingers and fries- you really can’t go wrong. Again, though, cooked perfectly and very fresh tasting. Served with a yummy honey mustard sauce.- Key Lime Pie- an unexpected sweet treat for dessert. Not something I typically gravitate toward but it was so creamy and light and zesty.Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be hitting this spot each time we come back to BI from now on!!
