I once found myself stranded in a strange land, when all hope was lost, the old island pub opened its doors and nourished me with warmed sandwiches and a delightful bowl of clam chowder. Was there yesterday during the BI Stroll. Only 2 bars open, so they were busy. Seated at the bar & we enjoyed 2 drinks each from Alicja, the bartender. I then made eye contact with her twice, but she was busy and didn't come back either time. 3rd time she walked by I said "I know your busy, but 2 waters when you have a chance please." Alicja put up her finger and shooshed me! That made it time for us to go. She found a second to come over as we got up,...
Went here twice during our visit best meal we had in a 1 week stay. Friendly staff, great food, comfortable setting. Very clean & casual. Indoor and outdoor spaces. Would recommend to any visitor to the island.
