I could not recommend the Atlantic Inn enough. The meal was exceptional and the staff made extra effort to make my father feel welcome and celebrated on his birthday. Everything from martinis at the bar, to the starters to the main course (the lobster pasta PMG) was amazing. 10/10

Went to Atlantic Inn a few years ago for our engagement. It was amazing. The vibe, the food, the ambiance, everything was flawless. Went this weekend and was thoroughly disappointed. Few years can change a lot, not sure if it's a new chef or new owners or what but we were so sad. It lost its charm. The service was prompt and friendly and warm. The menu we saw online the night before was different, which is ok and expected with the change of season. But the new menu only had 4 entree options. None were exciting or enticing. Started with the cheese plate. Cheeses were good but the "toasted bread" was just stale butterfly crackers from my great aunt's thanksgiving, the jam was all watery, and was served with some seeds/nuts. No entrees looked good so we got more apps and salads. Carpaccio was best thing we ate - balanced, salty, earthy, tender, delicious. No entrees looked good so I got the wedge salad with halibut. Fish was cooked very nice but outside of that just a very basic and unimaginative dish compared to last time we went. My wife got the French onion soup because she didn't find any entrees appealing either. Soup was good but again just kind of boring and unoriginal. Hope things turn around because it was so good in the past

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We started with the House Made Focaccia, it was a large portion for just the 2 of us and it was delicious. We moved on to the Spring Pea Salad, the flavors were delicate and well balanced, all the ingredients were garden fresh. For dinners we had the half chicken and the bone-in pork chop. The corn puree was so flavorful and made the chicken shine. I'm not a fan of succotash so I traded my husband for his snap peas. Yum! He said his pork chop was one of the best he'd had, and the grits nicely complimented the meat. Their dessert menu is sadly lacking, but we were so full from dinner it was not an issues.

The Veranda at the Atlantic is one of the most beautiful dining locations on the island. Cocktails at sunset is a wonderful experience, we wish there were more appetizers and especially more vegan options. The kitchen excels at fresh fish and local oysters, definitely a must.

Unfortunately, The Atlantic Inn may be overlooking their capacity. Many new tables outside and now lunch 2 days per week. They were understaffed, apparently brand new food runners and our usual great server just abandoned us. As a result, a Martini, a bottle of wine for my husband's birthday but no food for an hour and 10 minutes. Wrong food being delivered and finally my salad and meal was delivered to the table together. The entre was not fresh (probably sitting at the pass). Possibly it had been to someone else's table. No bill adjustment. Atlantic maybe should be less greedy and limit the tables if they can't handle it.

The food was great. I ordered a bottle of wine during out appetizers that didn't show up until half way through our entrees and then the service was trying to push us to leave to turn the table with an almost full bottle of wine on the table due to their lack of a sense of timing.

Our new favorite on BI. Just as good as last year. Food and service excellent. Kudos to Audrey. Great ambience on veranda for Summer dinner. Music very good as well.

It is usually our favorite place to eat on block However my husband didn't enjoy his food My food was delicious As far as service our waitress switched our wines even thought I tried to confirm which glass contained which wine The soup was served without a spoon and it took a while to get one.

We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant at the Atlantic Inn on Block Island. The food is elevated but accessible and the views can’t be beat. I’m still thinking about the tomato tart appetizer

We don't always review, but this place deserves it. Truly exceptional. First time to the island. Been here 3 days. Dined several places. This one was far and away the best. And it wasn't even close. Ambience, food, view, and above all the staff. Outstanding. Completely outshines the place next door. Attention to detail in every single thing. Our first visit when we come back next year.

Atlantic Inn has traditionally been our one date night out without our kids while we are on Block for the week. While I appreciate the small changes the owners have made so far, this is a very different atmosphere and service than what we had been accustomed to. Being squeezed in like sardines at the tables and blasted with a live band that was too loud to have a conversation, made it look like a money grab and not the high end, romantic, tucked away gem that the Atlantic was known to be. The food was ok, but the prices are no longer justifiable with poor service and a rowdy atmosphere. We will likely try again in the off season and hope for better.

Waitress was a newly. Dripped my wife's drink all over the table- made no effort to wipe it up. Didn't tell us the specials, heard another waitress mention them after we had ordered. Found the menu rather limited Food was okay. No reason to return again

Lovely wonderful restaurant. Great good and sunset! While my group enjoyed the live music, I personally found it too loud
