The food was great. I ordered a bottle of wine during out appetizers that didn't show up until half way through our entrees and then the service was trying to push us to leave to turn the table with an almost full bottle of wine on the table due to their lack of a sense of timing.

We don't always review, but this place deserves it. Truly exceptional. First time to the island. Been here 3 days. Dined several places. This one was far and away the best. And it wasn't even close. Ambience, food, view, and above all the staff. Outstanding. Completely outshines the place next door. Attention to detail in every single thing. Our first visit when we come back next year.

Atlantic Inn has traditionally been our one date night out without our kids while we are on Block for the week. While I appreciate the small changes the owners have made so far, this is a very different atmosphere and service than what we had been accustomed to. Being squeezed in like sardines at the tables and blasted with a live band that was too loud to have a conversation, made it look like a money grab and not the high end, romantic, tucked away gem that the Atlantic was known to be. The food was ok, but the prices are no longer justifiable with poor service and a rowdy atmosphere. We will likely try again in the off season and hope for better.

Waitress was a newly. Dripped my wife's drink all over the table- made no effort to wipe it up. Didn't tell us the specials, heard another waitress mention them after we had ordered. Found the menu rather limited Food was okay. No reason to return again

Menu looked good. Lot of new menu item ms from last year. However the kitchen execution was off. The panzanella salad was soggy from the lettuce and bread sitting in dressing for too long (did they pre mix with dressing?), the ny strip had an extremely heavy handed sauce and the potatoes were rock hard (please do a different steak preparation as this one is awful), the scallops had a nice flavor but no sear at all. Please add a burger the the menu - people come for the amazing views and drinks and sometimes nothing is better than a solid burger. The food actually detracted from our night and was super expensive to what we got. Maybe a lobster roll as well? We will go back again this summer and hopefully the menu and kitchen catch their stride.

We sat inside noting the seating was very comfortable. The food was excellent. You can tell the chef and staff puts in the extra care in to what they serve. The deserts were delicious. We spent over an hour and half there never feeling rushed. It was the most comfortable dining experience I've had in a while.
