The burger is excellent however the fries that come with it are very disappointing, they are like potato sticks. If you are paying almost $30 for a burger you will think you would get decent fries, no you don’t even McDonalds fries are better .

Excellent experience all around. Food and service was top notch. Always love the ambiance at The Spring House.

My Chicken Milanese was excellent. I ate my friend's caponata that was also excellent. His swordfish over mashed potatoes 3.5 stars and was uninspired.

My favorite and one of (if not) the best restaurant on Block Island. Go early before your rez or just stop by to enjoy a cocktail on the porch or in one of the many Adirondack chairs overlooking The Atlantic!

Very disappointing! Food was mediocre at best. Booth we sat at was very uncomfortable, and so low, our chins were practically on the table. We asked for a pillow, and surprisingly for a restaurant located in a hotel, no pillow was available. Overpriced. Would not go back!

Food was mediocre and overpriced. Our booth was uncomfortable, and the waiter could apparently do nothing about it. Would not go back.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with an old school bar and restaurant. Our server was professional and friendly, the cocktails were delicious and the food was absolutely wonderful. I'll definitely be back! We had salads to start, mine was the fig, goat cheese, and candied walnut salad of the day. I had the salmon that was cooked perfectly and so delicious. My dining partner had the cod which looked amazing. We had the Sicilian Lemonade cocktail, which was light and not too sweet.

We made reservations outside but they said they had to hold those tables for people with...reservations?

Stopped over for dinner during our block island trip. Tuna stack/tartar was flavorful and probably the best. Clam chowder was good too. Pizzas were okay. Spaghetti pomodoro was not good. It tasted like canned sauce on spaghetti. Great views of the ocean. Service was good. Parking wasn’t bad. It’s a huge place so your orders will take time. Keep that in mind if you have ferry back to mainland.

Had the most amazing meal with the most spectacular views. Sat outside on the deck with live music in the background. I enjoyed the chicken milanese while our guests enjoyed swordfish, mussels and a filet. Everything was cooked to perfection. We will be back

Hopefully the manager/supervisor of this place sees this message, I sat in the lawn and waited over 60 minutes for a server to stop by to take our food order at 4:00pm in the afternoon on a holiday. Train your servers better.

My family had reservations last Sunday night and we were greeted by Frank D. and were given a beautiful table overlooking the water. Shortly after I became cold and the staff quickly and kindly, moved us to the interior dining room which was lovely as well. Chanel was our server and she came to our table with a beautiful smile and presence as well as expertise. I had a Pistachio martini that was excellent and all the appetizers and meals were enjoyed (Cod, Salmon, Lobster Gnocchi and Pizza with olives and artichokes). An the unexpected surprise came from Frank D. when he had checked in on us at the outside table but found out that we moved inside. He took the time to locate us and came by to introduce himself and to make sure that we were happy with our new table! Even the entertainment that evening was so much fun with two women singers playing the guitar. The evening was perfect thank you Spring House and especially for the great care provided by Frank D and Chanel. See you in 2026

Fabulous first course ( tuna tartare and grilled artichokes) but our chicken Milanese was horribly overcooked and barely edible unlike earlier visits

Our food was delicious, the view was amazing and I was worried it was going to be windy but it was not and was perfect!
