We went to The Spring House for our 25th wedding anniversary. This was the best vacation we have ever had. The hotel is amazing. We had a corner room facing the ocean and the view was perfect. We loved sitting on the lawn in the white Adirondack chairs. The view was spectacular, the live piano music was wonderful and it was great that you could order drinks and food from your chair. Overall very good as usual. Staff is great as is the environment. Only issue this time was the preparation of the filet. Requested medium and received closer to rare, maybe medium rare at best.
We had dinner at the Barn where our accommodations were as well. Food and ambience were good but we were seated next to a large party of several tables celebrating an engagement which made for unbearable noise. Thankfully we were seated before the party joined so we stayed at our table but many other patrons requested to be moved. They should have seated us elsewhere or closed off the section the large party was seated.
