Our group of ten booked the private outdoor space at the back of the restaurant and had a great meal. The drinks were delicious, and so was the food. We ordered two pupu platters and two shrimp kokoda as appetizers. We then each ordered our own plate as an entree, and that was a perfect amount of food. The General Tso’s chicken and waffles stood out. Among the drinks, the Seventh Chamber was very good. The food is some of the most affordable we could find at a sit-down restaurant on the island. And, the atmosphere is really fun!

Had fried rice with pineapples and port. And fish burger. Pretty good. A lot of food. Nice fusion place. I had a beer too miller light. Less calories cause beer makes me bloated.

we went to Tigerfish to celebrate my sister-in-law‘s birthday. The drinks were good, the sushi was very good, my brother‘s Ramen bowl was delicious. However, my friend and I both got two different fried rices and just thought they were OK. Nothing spectacular. The server forgot to ring in my sister-in-law‘s meal. Very disappointing since it was her birthday. We thought they should’ve taken it off our bill, but they did not. She never came back to check on us and I had to go find our server to ask her to ring in the missed entrée. We ate outside because it was a wonderful evening. Not sure we will go back. Better experiences on the island for food.

Just had the sesame orange chicken... it was crispy, tangy and perfect. Unreal food, the scorpion bowl was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. Great spot for a chill dinner.

Ok, so you guys have no idea how good this place is. It is a true hidden gem! This is by far, the best restaurant on the island, and maybe even the best in New England. This is definitely the best restaurant I’ve been to in Rhode Island and you would be insane not to go here on your vacation to Block Island. The dishes are just an incredible representation of Asian style cuisine. Everything is incredible! I recommend the Pupu platter due to its ability to showcase many different amazing appetizers that this place presents. The service is great and the workers were professional and welcoming. Don’t be fooled by the relatively low rating. Lori Redding is lying. Just look at her profile picture. If you are in Block Island, this is the place for you!!
I popped into TigerFish after a sun-soaked beach day, ready for a drink and a chill spot to soak up the evening. What I found was a lively blend of tiki-bar kitsch and Southeast Asian flair—think bamboo décor, neon jungle vibes, sushi bar energy, and cocktails that come garnished like they’re auditioning for a tropical vacation ad.
🍹 Drinks & Vibe
The tiki-style cocktails were the star of my visit. Bold, fruity, and dangerously drinkable, they hit the sweet spot between fun and flavorful. The lounge’s indoor-outdoor layout—plus reggae beats spilling from a DJ setup—gave it a casual, island-party energy without feeling loud or pretentious .
🍣 Food & Small Plates
My friends and I split a few items—lobster fried rice, street noodles, and some small Asian-fusion bites. Everything had solid flavor, though nothing wowed. Sushi rolls looked sharp and fresh, and the general concept works: shareable, colorful island-food fusion .
📜 A Dash of Local History
TigerFish doesn’t have the centuries-old pedigree of Block Island’s historic Beacon Hill or its post-Revolutionary-era tower teams signaling British ships . But the area blends a laid-back island tradition with beach-town reinvention—and TigerFish feels like the modern twist: a tiki-infused reimagining of tropical fun in a place where tourists and townies converge.
👍 Final Take
What worked: Laid-back but lively vibe, strong cocktails, fun décor, and a post-beach hangout feel.
What could be better: The food, while tasty, didn’t match the creativity of the cocktails. And it felt a bit on-trend—fun, but maybe not essential to the island experience.
All told, I had a solid time—something easy, colorful, and breezy after a day of sand and sun. If you’re in the mood for someplace playful with good drinks, friendly energy, and a South Seas-meets-Asia twist, TigerFish is worth a pit stop.
Food was good

Excellent food, great atmosphere and staff!
Cute restaurant on the island! Price does not match what you get. Food is expensive but that’s to be expected. Staff is great even when short staffed!
