We were staying at a place close by and stopped in both mornings or our trip.I almost didn’t want to go back on the 2nd day and glad we did, food was better on the 2nd try.Server was friendly in the first visit, they were attentive and she told us a lot of the history of Annie and Newport. My croissant could have been toasted and the home fries, I couldn’t eat them. My husband’s omelette was thin and almost fried that I was surprised he said let’s give it another try.Server this time wasnt attentive at all, we had to ask for 2nd cup and he only gave some to my husband didn’t even attempt to check in on us after served. My husband didn’t like the coffee cups, too small and he couldn’t pick them up easily. We laughed off the poor service as he poured some of his coffee into my cup to warm up mine. All in all, good food but hopefully the server from today learns you need to check in on the guests and offer refills to everyone at the table. By the way, their coffee is really good, fresh and was told by friendly sever the Ben’s are local from Pawtucket.Server from day 1 gets 4 starsSever from day 2 gets 1 starFood day 1 gets 2 starsFood day 2 gets 3 stars

Super affordable food and no wait time! The pancakes and blueberries were yummy and the food came out really quick. Especially convenient if visiting the International Tennis Hall of Fame!

Amazing find for breakfast! It seems like a small mom and pop restaurant, very limited seating. The service was some of the best I've had! The food was quick and very good. Even prices were way below what I would expect in a tourist area! Kind of disappointed in the Hunts not Heinz ketchup, but I'll live! This place is worth a stop for sure!

1/29/24 John C My wife and I visit, Annie's every time we come to Newport, which is usually twice a year. We alway receive great service. The breakfast is well worth the prices at Annie's. The ham portion you get with the ham and eggs is plenty. I also have to say they do not skimp on the delicious home fries. Annie's restaurant may not be big and fancy but the quality food, service and prices are well worth a try!!!!

Great hole-in-the-wall diner. I had the Annie’s Burger, which was a classic burger with bacon. The fries were crispy and delicious! Recommend getting an Annie’s Muffin, it’s big and tasty.

Tight spaces but enough room to enjoy the food. We had breakfast and I would compare the food to any other good breakfast spot. Being in the heart of Newport at the foot of Bellevue makes this place standout as a must stop to start your day! Great waitstaff and well worth the 20 minute wait.

A must for the holidays. Guess how many ornaments are hung. Best lobster bisque and let's not forget the avocado grilled cheese Solid choice always.

Really great burger and fish sandwich. The Quiche Lorraine was more souffle than quiche than we expected, but it was still pretty good. We're actually all a little suspicious that people are purposefully downgrading the place to keep it a secret? Maybe the breakfast foods just aren't as good? Hard to say, but we enjoyed our meal a lot and thought it was reasonably priced.

Went for breakfast- didn't even take pictures- had the lobster benny and the lobster had a weird taste , not as in rotten but just - weird . Home fries undercooked- my husband had the steak and eggs - ordered the eggs scrambled but they were brought out fried and the steak was full of fat - servers so nice I was too embarrassed to complain - kinda pricey too

Annie's is a lovely little breakfast spot. They aren't very large so on a busy day AM its hard to get a table. They make their own corn-beef hash and I am personally accustom to the canned stuff. Regardless, it was delicious, inexpensive, and I was delighted with the kind staff and holiday atmosphere. I'll be back!!

Was there Saturday, Oct 28, and had an awesome experience. Our server was nice, young fellow who was great. The quiche Lorraine was excellent, and according to the server, a newer version. Will definitely be back.
