We stopped for lunch and a few beverages while Xmas shopping. Gingerbread man Martini was awsome. Carolyn who was the bartender was our server. She was a blast and made for a fun, enjoyable visit. The food was delicious as well, with Gluten Gree options available. If we are back in Newport we will be back again.

Buskers Pub And Restaurant is a fantastic spot! The food is delicious, with a great variety on the menu to suit everyone’s taste. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always makes you feel welcome. The pub has a cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with friends or family. The drinks are top-notch, especially their craft beers and cocktails. The live music adds an amazing vibe, making it a great place for an evening out. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and a great time!!

Even though they were very busy, everything was great! Top notch service from Keegan (sp). Very personable, very knowledgeable, and made it an enjoyable experience. We went with his recommendations which included the alcoholic, peppermint hot chocolate and the cottage pie.
The food and drinks were excellent. You can tell they use fresh ingredients.

It took the waitress about 20 minutes to bring us two glasses of beer, and another 5 minutes to take our order. The food arrived 25 minutes later. You might think it was a very busy afternoon (4 PM on a Sunday), but there were only three other tables in the front dining room where we were sitting. The waitress was rude and inattentive. The food was nothing special and portions were definitely on the small side—suitable for a teenager who doesn't eat much. Would I go back or recommend it? Absolutely not. Btw, place charges 3% for using credit/debit cards and recommends 20 to 25% tipping.

We were shopping in Newport celebrating my mother's birthday. We stopped in Buskers Pub to get drinks and food but were turned away because we brought in cupcakes from across the street, still in the box. They were not very friendly or apologetic about it either.

We have been going to Buskers for 10 years. It is close to our house and a fun atmosphere to grab a drink at the bar. We went tonight to try the Restaurant Week menu and it was outstanding! They chose the $60 dinner and delivered. We had the Dublin Lawyer (1/2 lobster and potatoes) and Surf & Turf. Both were the best meal we have had there. The baked Brie and salad were also excellent. We took the Baileys tort home because we were stuffed. I am sure they will be great as well.
This is called a pub, but don't come here if you are only wanting a delicious draft Guinness. The atmosphere and the Guiness was great, but when I asked for a bowl of nuts or a slice of toasted soughdough bread, the waiter was gruff and told me "This is a restaurant, not a pub. You must to order a meal." This was at 2:15 in the afternoon. Plenty of empty tables. Could be a good pub.
