TLDR: Turned away, even though we had a reservation. There were available slots on the reservation app (no one had turned them off), no one had bothered to contact us to say the reservation would not be honored, employee couldn’t be bothered and seemed to suggest it was actually our fault for making the reservation so recently (75 mins in adv), and was unapologetically unhelpful with any other suggestions.When we showed up with a reservation made on Resy, we were turned away and told they were closing early because it was a slow night. We hadn’t gotten called or notified that this reservation wasn’t happening and the man who received us seemed surprised we would want to have dinner.He actually said to us “oh well you must have made the reservation in the last 15 minutes…” and nonchalantly turned us away. Upon checking later, I had made the reservation 75 minutes ahead of time and selected the earliest available of 3 open time slots.I asked him where else he recommended we could go nearby to eat dinner downtown and he told us he said “uhhh…” a few times and trailed off talking to his coworker who was there, we ended up just leaving.As the Resy policy states that if we had canceled or no showed we would owe a fee per person, I think the restaurant should owe us a fee.

The menu isn’t consistent with what is posted online; we went to the restaurant and found that their menu was much more limited than what was posted online. we were told this issue would be resolved in a matter of days/weeks, once they were able to hire a new chef. I’m reluctant to even post this review, because I don’t want to turn anyone away from here - the food and drinks are generally very good. I just want to make sure everyone has a heads up that as it stands at the moment (Aug. 12), the menu is fairly limited and this is not reflected online.
We had an online reservation, and arrived in a torrential downpour. They quickly seated us in a booth in the front room on the ground floor, near the bar - dim, cozy, and just the right mix of modern and vintage. We later peeked into the back room, but didn't realize there was an upstairs as well; each room has a different atmosphere. I was torn between two dishes and I went with the one the waitress recommended; it's lovely when I face "too many" appealing gluten free menu options!! I'm glad I followed her advice; it was delicious. And the passion spritz cocktail (Aperol Spritz with passion fruit puree) was *wonderful*. After a very good dinner, we decided to indulge in dessert. My crème brulé was good, but not quite as good as the main course or cocktail; the topping was perfect, but the custard could have been either richer or more flavourful. It was good enough to scrape the dish clean, though! My friend had identified Cabana as a restaurant of interest before we booked our trip, and then I shortlisted it. I'm really glad that we went.
My family hosted a rehearsal dinner in the private event space upstairs then continued the party at the tiki bar our back. It was a fantastic night and Cabana exceeded all expectations! The food was absolutely incredible - we could not stop thinking and talking about it. The space was beautiful with such a fun vibe. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The prices were excellent for the quality of the meals. I got nonstop compliments for picking such a great spot. 1000% recommend!

Kid-friendliness: The spacious rooms leave plenty of space for kids to join. Lots of kid friendly menu itsms!
Parking: There is a parking lot on the street behind Cabana. The parking lot is off the street and can walk in through the Tiki Bar and outside dinning area.

This place was recommended by a friend who frequents it quite often. It's nice because it has an outdoor area at the back. The cocktails were good. The watermelon margherita was spectacular. However, the coconut margherita was not good at all. We had the coconut shrimp which were very fried. The bar is nice and the bartender is very helpful.
Best spot in town, make sure you have Cal make you a key lime pie shot at the outdoor bar!!
