Beautiful day and they had the front wall open. Drinks were delicious and the food was good too. Bartender was very pleasant!

Enjoyed their entry for burger bender,Italian Stallion. The overly stuffed burger was delish. Fried lasagna, meatball, vodka sauce and spinach artichoke mini vat in top of bun. It also had a smashed burger as well. The burger also came with fries. We both voted it the best burger and eating. We got great service from amy, our waitress. We ended up having coffee with key lime crepes. The dining experience was alot of fun. We will be back again, after this fine meal. We enjoyed a nice bottle of broadsideMerlot with dinner, that worked well with the burger.

Stopped in for just an appetizer, ended up ordering dinner and coming back the next day for brunch! Service was great, fun music, awesome art on the walls, great vibe all together! The cornbread is out of this world, and the skillet cookie will put a big smile on your face. Can't wait for our next trip to Newport so we can come back to Caleb and Broad!

4.5 to be precise. Loved everything about this place. Cozy, amazing service and the food is delish. Killer art on the walls to set the vibe. Sara the bartender made amazing drinks and her recommendations were on point. I can see this becoming my local fav. Also, Mondays all entrees are $12

Only did a takeout order of a few apps, but based on my experience, I will be re-ordering and also dinning at the restaurant. The duck wings and chicken lollipops were juicy, cooked properly, and had extremely flavorful sauce accompaniments. The beer cheese for the pretzels was just as flavorful, and the pretzels were salted well. Can't wait to come back.

This is our Monday night fav! And best deal around $12 entrees and boy are they Delicious!!! And your eating local-it does not get any better than this! The staff is wonderful and polite. Indoor/outdoor seating. The Pesto Papperdelle with braised short rib is my favorite! And if you want a table pleaser get Da Sampla!!!

Food has great presentation, waitress we had was hilarious and fun and attentive, and the place has really cool decor and murals! Collectively we tried probably half the brunch menu (and drinks). Highly recommend!

Fairly disappointed haven't been here in years and went today for lunch. The chicken was not cooked fully and was full on bloody and raw on the inside. Mac and cheese was eh and the pretzel sticks come with more pretzels and a small amount of cheese.... Waitress could use some help in the customer service aspect and no one came out to apologize for the chicken..... looks cute but never judge the book by the cover....

Caleb and Broad is a wonderful local restaurant offering a delicious variety of options. We started with the loaded avocado fries and the prosciutto flatbread. Both great starts to a delicious dinner. I selected the “Tuna Says Me” served with a tempura sweet potato and wasabi rice. Just splendid and I will return for the same dish. Another dish we got was the Pesto Papperdelle which featured a braised short rib. Another great dish. If you have room, a must have, is the chocolate chip cookie skillet pie. The menu offers a nice variety of food.

The watermelon poke bowl and warm Brussels sprout salad were both full of unexpected and really delicious flavors. We loved the creative food and our server was really nice! The restaurant was pretty quiet the night we were there.

I'm of two minds minimum about giving this place an OK rating and really can't point to anything overly off putting about it. It definitely is a local watering hole with many a loyal customer propped on its many barstools. I guess that means lots of local "color". The dining area is roomy and the booths and tables are well spaced so you're not dining on top of one another, although we happened to be there on a girl's night out among a group of possibly the loudest over-refreshed cackling chorus I've encountered in a long time. But there's no reason to be churlish since audible evidence of people enjoying themselves was in such short supply during the pandemic. The food portions are generous and the fish and chips on a bed of mint and pea hummus was almost too rich and filling to manage. Service was friendly and relaxed. The decor was the work of local artists with all the variables of talent you might expect, mostly not geared to enhancing your meal or memories of the place.
