Wonderful service and delicious, fresh food! Everyone in our party ordered different meals and each once was delicious. I would definitely recommend stopping by for breakfast or lunch. So glad we tried Cafe Cru.

A lively, light, and inviting space with friendly staff and great food. Ordered not your average BLT, egg sausage sandwich, kid cheeseburger, tater tots, blueberry muffin, and blueberry muffle pie. Understimated a large plate of tater tots and had to pack to go.Parking: It's all about if you came off season when parking is easyKid-friendliness: Staff was patient with the child wanting to order. Kid's menu is sizable and filling.

Delightful brunch on the weekends, and I'm looking forward to trying the breakfast and lunch menu later on. I thoroughly enjoyed the crab cake Benedict, if I had any complaints about it, they'd be to use more hollandaise sauce, and make the crab cakes crunchy, for some reason they just seemed soft instead of being nicely fried. We also had a scone, which was quite good, as well as a couple of the coffee drinks which were delicious. I have the full 5 stars because everything all together was a fantastic experience, even though there could be improvements.Parking: There's a paid parking lot right next to CRU, looked like they're was free parking along the street, but there's also another parking lot within walking distance which I cannot recommend at $60 for 4 hours.

Place is perfect for a quick and tasty bite. I got the loaded avocado toast and a blueberry muffin, which came out really fast. Food tasted fresh and left me content. Staff was friendly, place had a clean and casual feel to it. I definitely recommend and would love to come back and try their lunch menu sometime!

Not from the area, went to visit the mansions and my girl saw it on google. Decided to go and wasn't disappointed. The staff was all very friendly, the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The place itself is also very nice. Will deff go there again the next time I'm in Newport.

After an awesome a trip to the International Tennis Museum, two employees recommended that we visit Cru Cafe! It was noon on a Saturday and there was a long but fast-moving line. We ordered quickly and grabbed a seat by the large, bright windows. The decor is cute and our food arrived fast. My chicken sandwich was delicious but the indisputable star of the meal was the tater tots! Perfectly crispy and warm on a snowy day and the sauce really made it. 10/10 lunch!

Each time we visit Newport, we make a point to try a new to us restaurant. This place has been on my radar for a while and I'm glad we finally got to try it! Very cute atmosphere! Lots of seating available (parking, not so much). Hubby and I shared a reuben and the woman at the counter offered to split it on two plates for us-- that way we'd each get a pickle! Super nice of her to do that. The sandwich was made warm, nicely toasted and brought it right to our table. The restaurant also has complimentary ice water which is much appreciated. We will add this to our regular spots when we visit Newport!

Y’all are winners—polite, friendly, professional, and serving up delicious, quality, affordable food. Please keep it up! I’m going back to work to tell all of my coworkers about you!On a recommendation from the lovely lady who took my order, I got the Bellevue Burrito. It was delicious! I also got a triple shot Pumpkin Latte. It wasn’t too sweet, but it also didn’t taste like straight milk, which a lot of non-chain/Starbucks foofoo espresso drinks often do. I would definitely get both again.Parking: A few spots outside of the restaurant directly and it’s also right next to a large parking lot for Stop & Shop, The UPS Store, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: I’m usually on the lookout for wheelchair accessibility, but I don’t remember 100% if there was a step out the door. I believe it was flat or a slight lip. Inside of the cafe seemed quite spacious, and I would definitely take my handicap daughter there without worrying about space to maneuver or park her chair.
