The Food wasnt good at all, the biryani was unbelievable and once we told it wasnt good they responded that it was pan fried, also the chicken on the biryani and tikka masala wasnt properly prepared. Overall a very bad experience. Dont recommend it to others and definitely won't visit again.

My family decided to try CurryLand a few weeks ago since we already were Newport. The order we received was completely wrong and we were definitely overpriced for what we recieved. It was very disappointing. I tried to address the situation but after going back and forth, I believe with the owner, the situation was never resolved. I cannot say much about the food, since we didn't get what we ordered. If your are ordering from this place, be prepared to ger someone else's order and not receive a proper customer service.

I hate to give less than a five-star rating, but I've never had a chance to actually eat there because their hours are so strange. There are gaps during the day when there is no service, then there is a time frame with only to-go service, then there's full service hours. 🤯

After our son’s graduation from Navy, we went around 2:30 PM to have lunch and the Indian guy was rude and said it was booked for a private party.At the same time new customers came without reservation and he gave them a table. Very rude and the front sign said no restrooms and no apple pay accepted. Just eat at some other restaurants nearby in Newport,RI.

Simple atmosphere , amazing food. They serve best chana masala in town. We went their as family of 5 for dining experience but reach their little late for lunch and they told us that they will start dining after 5 in the evening . But they took our order for take out and provide us cutlery as well. Concept of roti basket won us. Only one detail i would like them to mention on google that is their time in which they gave dining experience to their customers. They should update slot in which dining experience is available to customers. As when we reach there restaurant was open but the servers were not available may be due to our late arrival for lunch. That was disappointing

The Dal Makhni was absolutely INCREDIBLE and if that’s their secret recipe well then WOW let me say it didn’t disappoint and I’d definitely come back for more when in town and to see try more on the menu! The service was welcoming and friendly and took the order and dropped it off and that was about it which honestly I have no complaints over and only rate a 4 in comparison to other places where they check up on you. The atmosphere was fine, the tv was a little loud but I was watching it so I didn’t care but if with company it might have been distracting but I came for the food anyway so THANK YOU!

The online orders are ready in 12 minutes but when I call the restaurant to order they want me to wait 30 minutes for Nan and a beverage. Are they making the dough as we speak? I told the person over the phone that I couldn’t wait 30 minutes and he said without asking any questions or offering any solution that he would cancel the order. Just how long does it take to microwave bread?

Food is fantastic but overall dining experience is not spectacular. I have been here 3 times now. I have tried the Saag, Vindaloo, Tikka Masala, and Joganrosh. They were all great and portion sizes good. The plastic cups, lack of cutlery, tables and chairs could improve. Great for takeout. AC was broken on my last visit.
One of the worst place to dine in. I went to dine in at 1pm they said they closed I can’t dine in. Only take away. If they don’t accept dine why the heck they didn’t mention on their description? I drove almost 1 hour to go there but the attitude of the front desk was really really bad. Not suggesting anyone to go there. Avoid this restaurant.

We are a group of 16 peoke had a wonderful dinner with quality time at this restaurant. I didn’t find any reason why few reviews are so badly written. Vorot and his son attended us, very accomodative, foods were delicious and of course the space including rest rooms were cleaned. Looking forward to visit again while come to RI in future.
