Highly recommend. We were visiting from out of state and it was a great experience. Food was delicious and service even better. We ordered multiple dishes but they did not take too long to arrive, and yet was still fresh. Chai at the end freshly made. Thank you!

I was worried at first because it was the only desi place around but it actually turned out to be amazing. Every dish was flavored so perfectly. My group got chicken biryani, butter chicken, saag paneer, the mixed platter, and a few others. Even the ginger honey naan was amazing - it sounds strange but it was so amazing. The service was also really amazing. Our host was always attentive and polite and made sure everything was to our preference. I definitely recommend eating here.

My family and I visited the Mansions in Newport the first night we were here and we ate dinner at Curryland. The food and service was great that we came back for lunch the next day and it was just as great!

I love Indian food, and the food here is very hit-or-miss. I have tried it several times since 2019, and I am always disappointed. The food lacks flavor, and the price is high for the amount and quality of the food. I have received bland food, cold food, sauces that have split, and versions of meals that are nothing like what I have received from hundreds of other Indian restaurants. The biggest issue is the lack of flavor in some of their dishes. Currylands food is the type of food you would receive at a nursing home…. bland. I ordered chicken jalfrezi and I don't think they added anything to their curry base (which was split). The color was still beige (not red or orange from the tomato and chili), and I could not taste any curry spices. I thought they sent me the wrong thing, but they confirmed it was correct. If you want flavorful Asian food, go to the Thai place on West Main Road (near the donut shop). I will drive the extra couple of miles to receive excellent food at better prices in the future. I don't want to waste more money at Curryland trying to figure out what menu items are good, and what items are only curry base quickly reheated (no flavor).

Got take out and was pretty disappointed. Chicken tikka masala wasn’t creamy enough and really lacked flavor. Chicken vindaloo lacked flavor and spice. Samosas were subpar. Garlic naan was good but couldn’t carry the meal. Indian food is usually bursting with flavor but this was not.In addition to the lackluster food, their hours on google are wrong; it says they are open 11am-10pm on Saturdays. But when I called around 3 pm, they said they didn’t open until 4:30 pm. I had worked my entire trip to this area around getting food here (I live 40 minutes away) so I ended up having to kill 2 hours shopping. Which is fine, but then when the food wasn’t great it made the whole experience just very disappointing. I won’t be back.

We went to get Chicken Biryani and a Vegetable Curry. I ordered the potato appetizer that comes with yogurt and some other stuff. I should have taken a picture sooner because I ate it all up it was so darn good!!!!!!

Is there anything less than one star? waiter was rude and insisted that he couldnt possibly take an appetizer order and it had to be done all at once. Had an issue with my order and was told i still had to pay even though it was below sub par and told that the issue was with me not the dish. Do not ever frequent this establishment unless you enjoy disappointment.

We ordered chicken curry, Briyani and chilli chicken. The chicken curry was spoiled and it smells so bad. They have cooked the bjs frozen chicken and put that in a curry and called it as chilli chicken. The chicken was not fully cooked as well.

Do NOT order to-go. Bread (tandoori roti and naan) we ordered were not chewable at all. They were too thin, chewy and were breaking like a crispy taco.Curry was good, however couldn’t enjoy it since Naan was messed up.

I would give 0 stars for this restaurant if I had the choice. The food is not what they claim to be as Indian food. The guy was so rude with his service and behavior. They need to be more professional with respect to food and behavior.

Good food but the service is awful. The person at the counter/server was very rude and arrogant. Also, please update your restaurant hours. If you are closed in the afternoon, you should mention that on Google and should also switch off your “Open” sign. It will help people to not waste their time by coming to your restaurant.
