Found this place when I went to Newport. After parking I looked places to have a bite. The location is perfect for sightseeing. The workers are very friendly. The menu has different varieties to choose from. And the Chai Latte is amazing. The atmosphere is great where you can seat and enjoy every little bit. So come by and enjoy this little gem.

We've been here several times and it's been consistently good since our first try! Their lattes and cold brew are fresh and flavorful. The housemate cardamom syrup is divine and we love their hot grab and go sausage/egg breakfast sandwiches. The English muffin that they use for the sandwiches is steamed fluffy and has a good "chew" to it. They are also dog friendly - we love grabbing our order and sitting by the fire and watching all the other patrons stop in with their pups!

As someone who goes to Newport quite often, I always stop in for a coffee and some baked good in the morning. -Great location and accommodating seating to lounge -Coffee is solid -Service is always prompt and attentive -Extra points for being open on New Years Day -Baked good selection is great and delicious Don't change, keep doing what you're doing..

Solid spot- parking can be hard but they had many menu options and drinks along with some pre-made breakfast sandwiches. We tried the hot chocolate - it was good! Not the best I ever had but good. Cute spot - apparently they have another location nearby as well? Good for them.

Empire is a staple of NPT coffee shops. The drink options are consistent. It is usually a bit busy. They have lots of places to sit. They have reduced their tea latte menu recently which I wish they would bring back! I loved the non-caf options like the nutcracker latte...Check it out!

One of the best coffee shops in the USA in my opinion. The staff is super kind and the service is impeccable. Their sausage egg and cheese on a bolo is my favorite breakfast sandwich out of all the coffee shops I’ve ever been to.If you’re in Newport make Empire your daily coffee instead of Starbucks or Dunkin, you won’t regret it!

A great spot for coffee with a smile, Empire is perfect for a quick breakfast in Newport. We stopped in on a Friday morning and had some of the best lattes and chocolate chip cookies around.
The menu is nice but simple. It reminds me of a neighborhood version of Starbucks with a local flair. Nice place to relax or get some work done..

I don't understand how this cafe has less stars than the other cafes around here. I'm from New York and it's sad to say that all of the lattes I've had before coming here were disappointing. So glad we found a QUALITY coffee around here. Only wish we had found it sooner!! Great barista and service. Spacious and good vibes.
