On an east coast trip and decided to make the drive to Newport. Absolutely worth it. We came down and enjoyed a stroll around downtown. Very cute place. Parking was plentiful, but you needed to pay for it .
We walked by the Gas Lamp Grille and it was intriguing. The menu was diverse., so we decided to eat dinner here. The service was solid. It wasn't too busy.
The food came out hot and was very delicious. The presentation was good. Most importantly, the food was very good.the view from the restaurant was very good as well. This is a great spot for a quick bite to eat. I would definitely recommend it.
Great clam chowder, the lobster roll was also good.
The food and atmosphere were great and the servers were very attentive!
Honestly? Wonderful location. Best lobster roll I’ve ever had probably. That pizza place is a damn liar. The roll itself is perfect and the seafood fresh, bonus points for fries that were 100% actually made fresh. Not a tourist trap and genuinely great around. Bravo to you guys. Also open till 12, ya are actually the best for that, all love 🖤
Great food, and service. The sautéed lobster roll is to die for. It's always a must stop for me
Comfortable restaurant, nice food options and drinks.
We always stop in when we are in Newport. The infused Woodford Reserve is always a hit. My wife loves the infused seltzers. Ethan is always fun.
The absolute worst New Years Eve of my life!! Over booked & under staffed!! Food was cold not even eatable! My family paid for garbage!! I hope the owner enjoyed his couch while his 16 year old daughter slaved all night. She deserved the money not your establishment!! She was in tears!! Just Disgusting!! Also: I waited for the bathroom for an hour only to find a girl laying on the floor in throw up!!
You people really need to figure yourselves out and learn how to run a respectable restaurant
Especially in Newport.

My husband and I went for dinner on NYE. The food was horrible. 60 dollars per person and they serve potato wedges as their starch. Server never gave us our wine or dessert that was supposed to come with the meal. The whole experience was horrible.

Went back in June great atmosphere, great service, the burger was not the best I’ve had but pretty decent & my daughter still talks about the chicken tenders as her favorite all time .

We were really looking forward to lobster rolls all week. We expected better than this. Lobster meat was really small, almost shredded. You kind of have high hopes when you pay $105 for two lobster rolls and two beers.

This place was our first stop and our waiter was Cade! This is a lively bunch! More of a traditional down home good ole boys gathering place! Football fans! Lots of cheering! Food is good Cade gave us great suggestions!
We enjoyed the REAL atmosphere!!

If you are walking by and wondering if you should eat here, the answer is yes! The fish and chips were really good, and other people's orders looked fabulous.
