They told me they don't clean the shake machine until 9:30 but when I went it there today hopping for one they had it cleaned and put away so don't believe anything thy say

When coming in there were two girls working and they looked so upset and discomforted. I felt rushed and also there were only around 10 flavors and I paid 14 dollars for a kiddie and a single scoop and the scoop didn’t even fill the cup. One of the scoopers who was scooping the ice cream for us wasn’t wearing gloves and was digging her hands in the icecream

Delicious!!!! You can tell a terrific handmade ice cream when the flavors shine with their natural ingredients (bright lemon, toasty coconut...) without a ton of artificial colorings. Also very friendly staff and great vibes. Well worth the stroll from the wharf and maddening crowds. Highly recommend!!!!

Tried the coffee and toffee crunch and both were amazing! The vegan flavor was also the creamiest daisy-free ice cream I’ve ever had. The person working was such a sweetie, too! Can’t wait to come back.
Stay open year-round: winter-goers need your creams to survive the frost! Love the garden flavors (beets! yes!) May I recommend squash and thyme next. :)

Life changing. That’s the only way to describe it. All other “homemade” ice creams taste the same and look the same but Get the Scoop stands out. It’s dense, creamy, and packed with flavor. Get the lemon, you won’t regret it. Combine it with strawberry and it’s even better. I wish I could give them more stars.

Saw some other reviews about the owner (or lady who makes the ice cream) being disrespectful to customers and staff and I think they hit the nail on the head. I came in with my husband and we were behind another couple in line that was having their order taken (it was only the four of us in the store). The worker was kind but she looked super stressed out. We soon heard the owner cursing and sounding absolutely miserable in the back. The couple in front of us ordered a milkshake and the owner came out to make it while the worker scooped for us. I could HEAR the owner standing with her back turned mumbling and complaining about having to make the milkshake and how it’s a “waste of money”. We exchanged looks with the worker who gave us a face that said “yikes”. Why are milkshakes on the menu then? I’m sure the other couple heard it too. Don’t make your customers feel bad for ordering something that YOU put on the menu! My husband and I felt like a burden being there. I also hope the worker finds another job with a more positive environment. I anticipate a paragraph-long reply like every other bad review gets.
