I would give them 0 stars if I could I am very allergic (my throat swells shut if I eat them) to tomatoes they accidentally put then on my burger I called a few hours after take out because I didn't sit down to eat it until now 11:35 I call and very nicely ask to ha e it remade so it won't kill me I speak to the owner and am not 100 percent rudely but kind of rude very unapologetic and am told the kitchen is closing not sorry the kitchen is closed come by tomorrow nope none of that dont bother with this place if they can't even apologize for possibly killing someone

My wife and I went February 1, 2020 with our URI daughter and her friend. We shared their ultimate nachos which were almost a meal for all of us. We had the clam chowder, and it was good, but heavy on the dill which is typical for Newport as it seems the Black Pearl sets the standard for chowder in Newport. We also had salads and chicken parm dish- all very good. Great service, ( our waitress has a Providence College shirt on, didn't catch her name) great location- will definitely come back.

The menu is diverse and reasonably priced. Our waitress was very personable and even joked around with my daughter. Checked on us often and just an overall cool atmosphere.
we are from out of state..bartender was so friendly and amazing...such a lovely experience...first time eating a "stuffie"...delish!! great place and staff

Came upon this tavern and glad we did. Drinks were fairly priced and our meals were delicious. We are from New York and it seemed like this was the place we’re locals come to. It was nice to see that. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Newport!
