My wife and I went February 1, 2020 with our URI daughter and her friend. We shared their ultimate nachos which were almost a meal for all of us. We had the clam chowder, and it was good, but heavy on the dill which is typical for Newport as it seems the Black Pearl sets the standard for chowder in Newport. We also had salads and chicken parm dish- all very good. Great service, ( our waitress has a Providence College shirt on, didn't catch her name) great location- will definitely...

Came upon this tavern and glad we did. Drinks were fairly priced and our meals were delicious. We are from New York and it seemed like this was the place we’re locals come to. It was nice to see that. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Newport!

We had a nice, casual late evening dinner, served by a friendly waitress. Great clam chowder, salad, really good burger. Comfortable seating, not too loud. Just a friendly, comfy place to have a meal.
