Keenwah Superfood Eatery is inside “A Market” which is a fantastic little gourmet market (not full service grocery store but has a great selection).It would be my number one choice to go stock up for a picnic in Newport.There are soups to go. A whole grab and go area with interesting salads and protein options in various portion sizes like curried chicken salad, a tempeh version of that, deviled eggs, etc. I read the ingredients in many of them. I noticed no preservatives...
Inside A Market. A Market is like a mini Whole Foods. Keenwah has pre-prepared tofu scramble burritos and lots of different yummy vegan muffins. There are tables outside to sit at. Given the other few vegan options Keenwah was a great find.
Great smoothies, but the absolute WORST hours. I'm never able to go here because they close at 3 in the afternoon. I would love to stop by when I grocery shop after work but I guess it'll never happen.
