Most of these scores are from La Costa and not Cluck House, keep that in mind. With that said, best chicken sandwich in Newport, and it's not even close. I believe they have association with Wally's because they are very similar in some ways...so whatever they are doing, its working. Great addition to lower Thames. 20 out of 10.

It's no longer a taco place so disappointing. It's a chicken place and the food basic not very good.

I was pretty disappointed in this place. I've gotten food from the food truck and I was hoping this would be better or different. I found it to be not as good as the food truck. Lobster was overcooked and dry. The space itself is not very interesting. Hasn't changed much in the eight years I've lived in Newport even though it's been through four different restaurants.

This place is a surprising delight - delicious food and great service. Emmanuel took great care of us. Make this your must-go pit stop when shopping on Thames.

We enjoyed the tacos and curry fries. Great seasonal sangria. Friendly and attentive service.

The food truck showed up to an event at the start of the event, not earlier, with no food prepared. While it was tasty, it was embarrassing that there were about 8 small plates of food for 100 people. Up your game.

We went for the taco food fights. The tacos were great, the service was awesome. The tortilla chips were so good, they were season so nicely! We got the salsas and queso, all so good. I couldn't stop eating the chips! It was a cute little place, nice and quiet, and close to parking.

We loved this cute little space in its last incarnation as Knot Norms & were sad to see it go. Visiting this newer spot as part of RIFood Fights TacoMania, we were happy to see that the new decor is even more cut & cozy. Toward the quiter end of bust Thames, parking can usually be foynd a short walk away. The server was friendly & helpful, chatting about plans to stay open through the winter & telling is about their new breakfast. We tried the fish tacos made with blackened Mahi. The fish was fresh, petfectly cooked & well seasoned. Perfect! Queso with freshly fried & seasoned tortilla chips were delicious & as was a plentiful chicken quesadilla. Their beer & wine menu offers some interesting cocktails using these as a base. We look forward to returning in the coming winter for a cozy, tropical feeling escape.

I stopped in during a weekday lunch rush to redeem my coupon for RI Food Fights taco month. These tacos won the contest in my eyes. The young man working the bar (they can't currently sell liquor) was super courteous and was very excited to share his opinion on the menu. They're a brand new restaurant and I wish them the absolute best. The head chef took interest in me taking my first bite (and was quite excited when I started raving). I got two of their Birria tacos and can easily say they're the best in RI. 10/10, stop in for a quick bite while walking around Newport and you'll find flavors that rival the best west coast taco stand. Thank you!!

We are familiar with Mexican food in Tucson. This is a different type of Mexican cuisine. It seemed more fresh and of course there was lobster involved. We had tostadas. When our dinners were served, they seemed small, but they were actually very filling and flavorful. The dinner included black beans and rice. We enjoyed each item immensely and took home leftovers. The staff was very accommodating. Our waiter gave us extra guacamole, sour cream and salsa to enjoy with the tostadas we couldn’t finish.

Sadly, we ordered but did not eat here. The hostess was very nice. We waited and waited and I was thinking there were a few larger groups that had ordered, so I remained patient. After 40 minutes and seeing other smaller tables get their orders (who ordered after us) , in inquired. The hostess said she was having problems communicating with the cook. We then left. With so many options in Newport, I'd skip this place when visiting.

Ordered chicken enchiladas platter to go. Just opened , no rice or beans. I waited 25 mins for the absolute worst enchiladas I've ever had. There was only one other customer there. No idea why it took so long! Very very dry. Tasteless. The server was very nice and apologetic when I called to complain. I wanted to give this business a chance but won't be going back. There is no option for zero stars.
