The good : beautiful atmosphere and decor with artistic Murals on the walls and beautiful collection bottles on the bar . Service was friendly. Guacamole and chips was good .
The bad : meat in the tacos wasn’t that good . Kinda reminded me of chipotle or microwaved warmed up meat . Flavorless . Noisy if busy cause all seats even the tables are in the bar . Tasteless but a bit spicy . A little overpriced for the mediocre quality and faux authenticity.

Had a late dinner there with friends after a show a few days ago. The atmosphere was nice, with friendly and attentive waitstaff. The food and drinks were delicious, and they were very accommodating to changes to ingredients of dishes. My only criticism was the size vs price of my main dish. I got a vegetarian bowl with no added proteins, which I thought was priced too high for the serving size (more like an appetizer amount). But that being said, as above, it was delicious!
We went looking for a Mexican Restaurant in Newport and found La Vecina Taqueria. First off the waiter was just outstanding. If the food had turned out to be bad he would have still made the experience fantastic. We started with the Chips and House Salsa. Best Salsa Ive had out in a long time. For a main we got the Mezcla 6 Taco Plate and wow.Every one was distinct and delicious.To top it all off, the Sangria and Chocolate Torte were fantastic.
