I went in for lunch at a Saturday, no wait or reservations needed. I got the sausage pizza that was good and the Manacotti. The food was good but needed some wait about 20 to 30 minutes.

Absolutely fantastic Italian restaurant. You can tell the food is made with love! It seemed like the whole family worked in the restaurant, which is a nice twist from some of the other Italian restaurants in the area owned by larger firms.

They also have a wide range of food options fit for vegetarians or other diet restricted individuals. Will absolutely be back 🤩

P.S, amazing wine selection 🍷

Delicious dinner and wonderful service. We tried their pistachio cheesecake, and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the music, too.

I ordered a large pie to pick up, extra cheese and 1/2 pepperoni. The overall taste and the crust was boring......all this was the most expensive pizza I ever bought $32.!!

I don’t leave many reviews but Lucia’s is a must-not-miss gem! First of all, Lucia herself is a welcoming presence in the restaurant which feels refreshing in the current climate of restaurants owned by large groups which can be trendy and fun but sometimes feel heartless. Lucia’s is all heart.
This was our second visit and despite living in federal hill, we drove down to Newport to bring our family for some truly authentic Italian food.
The food is delicious! We are vegetarian and Lucia herself eats vegetarian so the menu has unique options which are all delicious!
The seitan al Madera was delicious with so much umami flavor packed in - relatively rare for a vegetarian dish. The penne arrabiata was the best I’ve had! They had vegan soups on special both times we went and both were delicious, particularly the pasta e ceci (best soup ever!). The broccoli salad is sooo good too with homemade dressing and croutons. This second visit, Lucia informed our server we were vegetarian and that the pasta special (normally served with shrimp) could be made without and it was delicious! A tasty tomato and red pepper sauce with shallots. To be perfectly, the pizza was not my favorite as I didn’t love the crust but my mother in law loved it. You can tell the ingredients are perfectly fresh and it makes all the difference. Even a simple appetizer of burrata with tomatoes was incredible simply because the grape tomatoes were perfect!
Next time we look forward to finally trying Lucia’s homemade tiramisu 💗

Absolutely awful. Ordered the tagliatelle ragu, which used to be really good, and it was terrible. It smelled like dirty dishwater. We threw it away.

My experience was not good 6 dollars a soda without ice from the machine, the Coca-Cola was more water than Coca-Cola, the food 18 and up the pasta portions were very small, they do not give you cheese you have to ask for it the waitress gives you the bill without having finished your food I found it in very bad taste we asked for ice for the drinks and she gave us only enough for one glass and we were 8 people I do not recommend it to anyone, improve your drinks even the beer was warm I asked for extra shrimp with my food why do none of them have protein only pasta served tiny on a plate with sauces no cheese on the table or bread as an appetizer and for 4 shrimp they charged me 2 dollars each shrimp or 8 dollars for 4 extra shrimp There was no phone signal in the place either, it was obvious that it was not good, it was very empty and all the other places were very crowded.

Lovely restaurant - soft lit, more intimate atmosphere. Nice music (not loud). Great food.

We found a real authentic Italian restaurant on Thames with excellent customer service. I recommend the homemade spinach and gnocchi.

Is it delivery or Degiorno? It’s WORSE!!! Absolutely SHAMEFUL. This is a frozen crust, sauce, sauce & cheese pizza w/toppings thrown on it. If you think of elementary school hot lunch pizza, it would be on par with what you’ll be served. We threw it away- seriously.
