Exceptional food complemented with best service possible, last time I was served so well was in 3 star Michelin restaurant.

This place was fabulous! Great atmosphere, great food, and service. You felt like you were in mamas kitchen. Highly recommend. The lemon cake dessert was the best.

We loved our meal here. I put in the booking notes that we were celebrating an anniversary, and the restaurant gave us a beautiful window table. We were thrilled! The ambiance and the food were both outstanding. I would go back for sure. I would also recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal in kind of an old school restaurant setting.

The spinach is SO good! I like going home with some to put in my eggs the next day😋. The bolognese is excellent, as are the gnocchi, along with the pistachio/ricotta cake😋. Consistently excellent❣️🙏

In my opinion, the best Italian restaurant in Newport; like a hidden gem. Small, quaint, authentic Italian. Food was amazing, homemade pasta, bread, wonderful wine selection. Recommend a reservation because it is a smaller restaurant and once people know how good... go back and it fills up. We'll definitely go back!

Mamma Luisa was excellent. It seemed to have an authentic atmosphere. It was relatively small and intimate, even on Mother's Day. The food and service were both excellent and the menu was fairly extensive. I was only sorry not to have been able to try other dishes. It is somewhat off the beaten track; a good distance from the central tourist district - an absolute plus. I would highly recommend Mamma Luisa to anyone visiting Newport.

This restaurant is a gem. If you are looking for a small restaurant that feels intimate and special with amazing food and staff, this is it. They clearly take pride in their restaurant and their relationship with their patrons.

Wonderful dining experience! The restaurant was quiet with light background music, it felt like we were in the comfort of someone's home. The food was very fresh and delicious. Can't wait to go back already!
