This is a GEM! The greatest dinghy-accessible place In the Newport Harbor, maybe on the entire East Coast. Get a peanut butter mudslide. Then go order their hot dog or cheeseburger and bliss will be yours. Great, attentive, friendly staff.

What a hidden gem. Away from crowded Thames st, breezy Harborside pub, where you can seat yourself and self serve food and drinks. Food at first glance doesn't seem pricey, but fish sticks & fries $15 comes with 3 small sticks. Clam chowder $10 was a bit salty. Ice coffee $6. I would return to just sit and watch the boats.

Even though they have a limited menu, the food is delicious and the drinks are too. The drink menu is creative and all prices are reasonable. You certainly can't beat the view of Newport Harbor! Note that this place is seasonal and closes after Columbus Day. Also the menu listed here is not their current menu. They still have the clam chowder though.

How fun is this place! We just arrived in Newport after a long drive and decided to try a new place. I'm glad we did! Great atmosphere and bar. Beautiful view. Great bar tenders and wait staff. All SO friendly. It was essentially all outdoors and not your typical place to eat. It was more a sort of, take out and seat yourself kind of thing. But, i truly enjoyed the experience. My husband and I both had salads with added chicken, he had the chowder. All good. Beautiful view of the marina. Everyone in a good mood. Nice kickoff to our weekend. Thanks guys!

We stopped here at the recommendation of our hotel. Frozen peanut butter mudslides were awesome. Bartender was very nice. They had limited food available (around 3pm). Hotdogs were good. Really a great place to hang out near the water, away from the crowded warf area. We would go back on our next trip to Newport.

If you’re the kind of person who opens a cold one on a hot Sunday afternoon and are a fan of over-the-bar hotdogs in a crowded, sticky 6x12 ft space (and magically doesn’t need to pee from all the binge drinking), this is the place for you. If not, turn around and keep looking because this place lacks hygiene, customer service, and basic amenities I’d expect out of somewhere called a “CAFÉ&PUB”

Big disappointment! Went here today after driving from Attleboro, MA area to find only the bar was open. They did not receive a food delivery, so NO FOOD, Always enjoyed drinks and dining here, but not again, won’t be making the drive. Be sure to call before planning a visit.

One of my favorite bars in Newport. Hidden gem. Staff is awesome and the drinks are cold and delicious. Plenty of seating and the view is top notch. Had my wedding after party here and it was the perfect way to end one of the best nights of our lives. Long live Marina Pub!
