Nice atmosphere and clean restaurant. Server was kind but slow at the end to get us the check. Miso and edamame was good. Deep fries sushi roll was just okay and the spicy salmon roll was stringy.

Mori Sushi is hands down one of the best hidden gems I’ve come across. I came in expecting great sushi, but what blew me away was the depth of flavor and attention to detail in every dish—especially the Bibimbap with Gochujang Sauce. Served sizzling in a hot stone bowl, the rice developed this perfect golden crust at the bottom, while the mix of fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked egg, and tender bulgogi (or tofu, if you go veggie) made every bite incredibly satisfying. The gochujang sauce is the star—sweet, smoky, and just the right amount of heat. It adds this complex, fermented richness that ties the whole dish together without overpowering the individual ingredients

Good sushi, not cheap of course, it being Newport. Atmosphere: booths and tables all a little too close together. Place was not crowded when we came in, but you could see that people seated in the main area had almost no separation space from table to table. Booths not too comfy. This place seems intent on moving you along expeditiously in your sushi quest. Has soju. Server was nice whenever we saw her. It seemed like she was handling the whole place on her own at that hour, a little past the usual time for lunch.
Only got take out but the rolls were extremely fresh and you could customize almost anything the way you liked it. The restaurant looked very clean sleek and modern and the staff was very nice
