Very clean kitchen! I love Mori sushi it’s my favorite sushi in Newport. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because if you’re ordering the yaki soba or udon. The portions are VERY off. I ordered the shrimp soba. I felt like I was just eating cabbage. There were two tiny pieces of broccoli and the cabbage made up 80% of the entree. There was the smallest amount of noodles. And I received 4 small shrimp. So essentially I paid $20 for cabbage. I LOVE their sushi but unfortunately I won’t be getting an entree again anytime soon.

Best sushi of my life. Seriously. Very fresh! Even the wasabi and ginger on the side was stronger than I've ever tasted before. Must come here for incredible sushi!

Absolutely amazing sushi everything looked fresh, colorful, and perfectly crafted. The fish was incredibly fresh , especially the salmon and tuna nigiri. The rolls were packed with flavor, balanced beautifully with avocado, eel, and just the right amount of sauce not overpowering at all.
Presentation was stunning, served on a wooden boat that made the experience even more special. Every bite tasted clean, high quality, and thoughtfully prepared. You can really tell they care about freshness and detail.

Everything tastes so sweet - the ramen, udon, even gyoza. They did not taste savory at all, just too much sweetness.

The service was so so. We went early in the evening, so there were only 3 tables, but we had to wave them down for everything.

It was a rainy and cold day. Had better sushi elsewhere, but it was ok.

Had a great meal of a few different apps, several sushi rolls, and a bottle of sake. Really enjoyed all of the food. Sushi was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Great, fresh sushi but wish they had a lunch menu, especially for a weekday. Prices were a bit high.

Nice atmosphere and clean restaurant. Server was kind but slow at the end to get us the check. Miso and edamame was good. Deep fries sushi roll was just okay and the spicy salmon roll was stringy.

Mori Sushi is hands down one of the best hidden gems I’ve come across. I came in expecting great sushi, but what blew me away was the depth of flavor and attention to detail in every dish—especially the Bibimbap with Gochujang Sauce. Served sizzling in a hot stone bowl, the rice developed this perfect golden crust at the bottom, while the mix of fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked egg, and tender bulgogi (or tofu, if you go veggie) made every bite incredibly satisfying. The gochujang sauce is the star—sweet, smoky, and just the right amount of heat. It adds this complex, fermented richness that ties the whole dish together without overpowering the individual ingredients
