Very clean kitchen! I love Mori sushi it’s my favorite sushi in Newport. I didn’t give it 5 stars only because if you’re ordering the yaki soba or udon. The portions are VERY off. I ordered the shrimp soba. I felt like I was just eating cabbage. There were two tiny pieces of broccoli and the cabbage made up 80% of the entree. There was the smallest amount of noodles. And I received 4 small shrimp. So essentially I paid $20 for cabbage. I LOVE their sushi but unfortunately...
Absolutely amazing sushi everything looked fresh, colorful, and perfectly crafted. The fish was incredibly fresh , especially the salmon and tuna nigiri. The rolls were packed with flavor, balanced beautifully with avocado, eel, and just the right amount of sauce not overpowering at all.

Everything tastes so sweet - the ramen, udon, even gyoza. They did not taste savory at all, just too much sweetness.
The service was so so. We went early in the evening, so there were only 3 tables, but we had to wave them down for everything.
