Such a very nice spot. What a shame the entire staff was unpleasant and rude. Don't worry I'll never return or suggest anyone go here. It's sad cause he beer was ok and spot was beautiful. If you get invited for a party don't tell the hostess you're there for a party unless you want the staff to blame you for organizing it. The manager was equally as rude to me telling me I had to plan it better and inform the staff of a party.... A party I was invited to by someone else.... I still tried to enjoy my time there but the manager made me uncomfortable the rest of my time and would not serve me. What an uncomfortable situation for someone who just wants to hang out and drink beer. Very disappointed!
An impressive new(ish) facility in an unassuming location, especially because we live nearby and never noticed the place until they put a big new sign out on the road. Bright, modern, and clean. Inside is a bit fancier than expected, in a good way, compared to the back outdoor patio and lounge area, which is really nice in its own right. Just a good vibe all around and good folk working there. On a warm day, the outdoor bar and cornhole can’t be beat. Selection is solid, as they’ve updated their beer offerings to keep up with the hazy IPA trend. They could use some food trucks or something to eat, especially on the weekends, as they only sell beverages.
Update for October 2024 now that Wally’s has officially moved in to sell their delicious food right out of the kitchen! Trivia Thursdays are fun and the food is great, ranging from dogs to fried chicken to burgers. Had a couple tasty lagers, as well. Good to see their lager game is strong.
This is always a go to after spending the day in Newport! They always have wicked good signature cocktails that change every once in a while. The staff is also awesome, our bar tender Tate was super sweet and helped us with everything we needed. Definitely a regular spot for us!
Ambiance, comfort, view, beer, hospitality, music, sports and food channels…if they’d let us, we’d sleep here.
My family and I stopped here as a respite from an expansive road trip up the East Coast. Great decision! The beers I sampled were delicious. The taproom and deck were beautiful. The staff were great and recommended numerous good stops for food in town. I left with a 6 pack and a bottle of Thomas Tew Single Barrel; the closest thing to my go-to "everyday" bottle, Appleton Estate 12 Year. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll be there again.
Went for a line dancing event. Staff was so nice, the upstairs room and outside deck were spacious and super clean. Plenty of parking.
The bartender downstairs (I believe her name was Tatum; black hair with tattoos) was AMAZING! All of my drinks were made quick and to a T! Had the best conversation with her, and really made me feel at home. I will definitely be back here, and I hope to have her again!
The beers were very average, and the service was awful. The bartender forgot about a flight I ordered, and it took 25 minutes to make a frozen pretzel with packaged tostidos cheese. It was not worth it.
I’ve been here multiple times, I’ve brought friends and family here because I really like the place, the drinks are amazing, and the staff is usually very kind...
HOWEVER- the shift lead Abby is aggressive and rude. Multiple times I've seen her yell at her staff, co workers and customers, including myself. I've heard other bartenders not wanting to do a a simple task, like dimming the bright lights because they are scared of her yelling at them.
She made my experience at Newport Craft Brewing a 1 star experience.
Drinks were great, but the lead bartender on duty was very unprofessional. Other staff members seemed to be intimidated by her as she kept trying to control the lights after the group next to us asked for them to be turned down. Would go again as long as she’s not working ?

Came here 3 years ago on a first date (and loved it) and now Back visiting and celebrating 3 years together.
This place has been totally redone after a $28 million renovation and it looks amazing!
We each had cocktails made with their homemade spirits and both were delicious.
It is child and pet friendly here with an amazing outdoor rooftop patio with comfy seating both inside and outside.
The bartenders and young girl at the entrance were all super friendly and nice. We'll be back for sure!
Had a good time , beer was good , bartenders could have been a little more friendly.
A great spot to hang out while enjoying some awesome drinks!
While on a road trip and passing through RI, we stopped by the distillery to sample what Newport Craft has to offer. We were not disappointed; great facility, friendly staff and delicious Sea Fog Rye. Highly recommend the place and their spirits...
Good Beer, just no food!
