We went to Nikolas Pizza for the first time 15 years ago. Every few years we drive up to Rhode Island or Cape Cod and make a point to go see if Nikolas Pizza is still there. We just love the pizza we are from New Jersey and we probably have more pizza places in New Jersey they anywhere in the country. It is still a thrill to go and have a pizza here. The food is consistently good 15 years later. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is always clean. It is still owned by the original owner, who works there everyday.

We had a great experience with Theressa at Nikolas Pizza! Our varsity team was playing nearby at St. George’s Arena, and she was incredibly friendly, professional, and responsive while taking our order.
We placed a very large order, and everything was handled perfectly. The food was delivered exactly at the time we requested, and every item was clearly labeled just as we asked, which was especially important because of food allergies on the team. That level of care and attention really meant a lot to us.
We would absolutely call Nikolas Pizza again when we’re in the area and highly recommend them—especially if you’re working with a big group. Excellent service all around!

Absolutely incredible pizza. The crust is perfect with a light crunch, the sauce tastes fresh and truly authentic, and there is a perfect balance of cheese and crust on every slice. The toppings are always fresh and flavorful without being greasy.
This place is part of Newport’s history, not another new restaurant trying to compete. It’s a must for anyone looking to experience true Newport history.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, the restaurant is clean and comfortable, and you can tell they care about their customers. This is a place I look forward to coming back to and recommend to everyone I know.

This saddens me to do. Ive frequented Nikolas Pizza regularly since 2004 and LOVED their pizza and chowder. They changed something over the past year resulting in a flavorless disappointment of a pizza. I’ve been several times since first noticing the change hoping it was a fluke, but the pizza keeps getting worse. My most recent pizza was doughy (vs slightly crunchy like previously) and overall horrible; a microwave pizza has more taste. It is so unfortunate, at least their chowder is still good.

It’s an absolute staple in Newport. The food is authentically Greek and Italian, and you can taste the care and tradition in every dish. It’s family owned and has the perfect balance of class without ever feeling exclusive.
An upscale wedding anniversary dinner or a child’s birthday celebration both feel right at home here because of the comfortable atmosphere and amazing food.

Warm welcome, diverse menu, great energy. I had the fig/prosciutto/goat cheese calzone - the small one, which was a very generous size. My new favorite! My friends had an Asian salad and a veggie calzone and both were very happy. We were on our way to a concert, let the waitress know, and she made sure we had our food in plenty of time so we could enjoy it and still make the show on time.

We drove by and noticed the half price sign for Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays and decided to try it. The food was excellent-we ordered chicken parmesan, Greek lemon chicken, NE clam chowder, zeppole with coffee for dessert. Our server was very friendly. The atmosphere of the dining area was casual but much nicer than we expected. We'll definitely return.

We went to Nikolas Pizza based on a retail owner's recommendation. It was just the two of us but they did not give us pizza stand but they did for other people. Not sure what is about. We had the Horan's Four Cheese, it was good. Waitress was attentive enough. The places was nice. bathroom was small but still had enough room. It had some cute modernized games and juke box.
