Very loud but it was a pub. Good lobster roll and fish n' chips were stellar. Love that they put boats and ducks in their fountain for kids to fish out. They also have towels and dry clothes for purchase...just in case!! Good mudslides too, bartender is heavy handed which is either good or bad depending on your pref! Definitely would go back!

We arrived in O’Brien’s and the waiter sat us down. The bouncer at the door was very nice but a different guy with long hair came over to us and started giving out to us saying we can’t sit there. He was very rude shouting at us for no reason.Terrible service would not recommend coming here.

If you plan on going two days after Christmas don’t! It was mobbed and staff was extremely rude including the hostess. She clearly didn’t want to be working. I asked her a question about wait time as she was putting silverware and napkins together. They must have been over capacity working and we were not worth their time. For all the advertising I’ve seen and merch they are clearly not up to service expectations!

We just had a not great experience at another establishment in Newport, and it inspired to me write a great review for our lunch today at O'Briens. Food was delicious, folks were friendly, service was wonderful. Also, having private parking for guests was a huge plus. I would love to return here the next time I am in Newport. Thanks guys
Bar Tender had a terrible attitude. I get it your busy but he was rude and unprofessional . I wouldn't go back and or tell anyone else to go there.

Don't know what it was but apparently the bartender named Ryan got Offended whilst I was just joking with him and patiently waiting for my beer 🙃 Then he was really RUDE to me and refused to Serve me while i was just watching Football! I did my best to just respectfully leave! I informed the doormen & other staff on duty so that I wasn't falsely accused of anything! Besides that I LOVE Ob's
