Our meal was very, very good. Polite and courtesy staff. I'm guessing the vibe is more "right" when Parler is really busy. We ate early. Lastly the booth off the bar was very comfortable.
We enjoyed our dinner at Parlor Bar and Kitchen. The food was delicious and one of our party was GF and was able to have fish & chips for the first time in a very long time. Our waitress/bartender was awesome, very personable and fun to talk with too!
We come to Newport every summer and have high expectations of the restaurants on offer. This was a new restaurant for us, located in the neighborhood rather than on the commercial strip. Frankly, we were disappointed. The restaurant was nearly empty (it was a Sunday evening, to be fair). If we hadn't made a reservation, we would have left without ordering. We sat in the bar area, where there were 2 TVs on, rather than in the larger restaurant area, which was empty. The wait...
