One of the best Italian restaurants on the island Dough is made in-house, which makes for great tableside bread and pizzas. The pasta selection is pretty solid but is still a bit "Americanized." Highly recommend the Amarone wine and the pizzas. The cacio e pepe, on the other hand, has added cream, which muddles the cheese flavor.

I brought my out of town friend to this restaurant and we had a wonderful night. The staff was nice and accommodating and the atmosphere cozy. The food and wine were very good but I missed the amazing calzone they had with their previous chef. Our waitress Jess was outstanding!! She was very knowledgeable about the menu, including both the food and wine. Jess was professional, friendly and polite and added to a memorable night with an old and special friend visiting from afar.

Made reservations and we were running late and the host/manager still held our table! I’m forever grateful for that! I raved about this please since I visited the one in Providence, but wanted my family to enjoy the Newport location. It did not disappoint! It is very cozy and cute inside, and the service top notch. The food of course is the highlight. It was rich in flavor and prepared very fast. We all loved the fresh bread served in the beginning and the pasta selections. Thank you everyone for a great experience and being so accommodating!

Food was great but the server Danny charged us 22 dollars for water, which was not previously stated. Assumed the water would be free considering it’s a restaurant. We also were charged for 3 bottles yet we only drank from 2.
My mom and I had a great experience here last night. Our waitress was so amazing, I wish I could remember her name. All of our food tasted yummy and their mocktail with the cranberry in it is to die for!!!!! Best mocktail I’ve ever had. I will def be back to try the pizza next time!

I never felt discriminated in my life. The host took one look at me and my husband and told us to wait outside while she figured out seating. There were tables available we saw. There was no one in line besides us. I can’t believe we actually did wait outside until we saw another couple go in and she attended them. We went back in and there was another woman with her-she looked scared and then found us a table…. Next to the closed in dumpster back at patio. Never again will we come back here. Disappointed and upset we were treated this way.
