I brought my out of town friend to this restaurant and we had a wonderful night. The staff was nice and accommodating and the atmosphere cozy. The food and wine were very good but I missed the amazing calzone they had with their previous chef. Our waitress Jess was outstanding!! She was very knowledgeable about the menu, including both the food and wine. Jess was professional, friendly and polite and added to a memorable night with an old and special friend visiting from afar.
Made reservations and we were running late and the host/manager still held our table! I’m forever grateful for that! I raved about this please since I visited the one in Providence, but wanted my family to enjoy the Newport location. It did not disappoint! It is very cozy and cute inside, and the service top notch. The food of course is the highlight. It was rich in flavor and prepared very fast. We all loved the fresh bread served in the beginning and the pasta selections....

Dough is made in-house, which makes for great tableside bread and pizzas. The pasta selection is pretty solid but is still a bit "Americanized." Highly recommend the Amarone wine and the pizzas. The cacio e pepe, on the other hand, has added cream, which muddles the cheese flavor.
