Always happy we came here. Bar or dining room, food is excellent, folks are friendly. Back bar is happy and friendly for dinner or drinks.

We just had dinner before a movie at the Jane Pickens. Can't go wrong at Salty Dog.

We made a reservation on a Wednesday evening at 5pm. We asked to be in a room with a fireplace. We were seated at at a four top table but we're asked by the waiter to move closer to each other as to not block the table crammed in next to us. The food was mixed. Beans were cold, fish tacos were excellent. Our waiter was very surly when we asked about the menu. He made it very unpleasant. No other parties were seated next to us, the room was practically empty. Very pretty atmosphere but wait staff need customer service training.

Highly recommend the apple pie margarita, duck tacos and lobster quesadilla. Nice big succulent pieces of lobster in the quesadilla!

Had an amazing night at Perro salado last night. My boyfriend got the restaurant week special salmon which was delicious and I got the sweet potato and street corn tostada. SO good. Service by Kayana was amazing and very attentive. This is our favorite restaurant and for good reason! Such an awesome place.

Home of the single best dish in the entire town, the sticky pork ribs, but also a cracking little back bar, amazing drinks and a solid menu to back it up. If you haven't had the ribs you haven't lived.

Found this place by chance because we’re in town for 5 nights and it’s right behind the Jailhouse Inn where we’re staying. We were tired of traveling so we decided to have dinner there due to proximity. What a hidden gem. Everything was exceptional with good food, service and atmosphere. Live band playing and not overly loud and relaxing. Love the unique menu items: avocado fries and sticky ribs as examples were amazing. Tamarind beef burrito and empanadas top notch. If I lived around here this would be a regular go to place.

Great vibe, pretty small place, very low lighting with loads of ambient lights/candles. Neat artwork & decor. We had a nice table situated near the patio, close enough for fresh air & to hear the live music but not too loud. Overall though the noise level is pretty up there, as this restaurant is in a very old structure. Cucumber marg & blood orange marg very yummy. Excellent & friendly service, attentiveness perfect. Duck tacos A+. Salmon was overcooked (catering to the masses?), but the flavor of the tajin roasted potatoes & roasted carrots more than made up for it. If you like salmon cooked this much & would order it, it’s enough for at least two people. Nice experience overall, glad we went during our short stay here while we’re trying to sample multiple places!

Margaritas were too sour could hardly taste tequila. Service very slow - close to unfriendly. Simple order took a long time to come. Would not go there again

There is nothing about this place that is authentic Mexican food - from the margaritas and guac to the “carnitas” it is awful. The margs use triple sec and a mix - no Cointreau or fresh limes. The salsa is worse than what comes out of a jar. What was marketed as duck fajitas was duck with sweet bbq sauce on it and the fish tacos were completely dried out. To top it off the waiter was condescending and inaccurate in his guidance. If you know anything about Mexican food or care about good service, this restaurant is not for you.

Fun times on August 30th, at 5 pm for an early dinner with the family! This is my first visit here, though I live about 3 miles from the restaurant. Tasty and very fresh food, everything perfect, from the bartender while we waited for the others, to our servers. We're all going back September 21, to try the Sunday brunch.

AMAZING vegan & gf options! I love the vegan chorizo & corn tacos the “meat” was so flavorful. The vegan sofrito enchiladas are also very flavorful. I will definitely be back!
