Quite honestly some of the best coffee we've ever had from a coffee shop

Came to visit Newport on a colder Wednesday afternoon and stopped by for some coffee. The atmosphere and music were lovely, and the coffee was great! Would definitely recommend this cute café.

A sweet little place with tons of delicious fancy pastry options! I was particularly taken with the number of almond pastries, cakes, etc. The picnic theme is cute - they sell fancy picnic baskets and will pack them with goodies for you (presumably a nice idea in the spring rather than in the snow like when we visited!).
Delicious food and outstanding coffee. A little pricey but it's Newport. The food and baked goods are absolutely worth it. Definitely worthwhile if you want a picnic lunch to take to the park or beach. It's unique but the food really is great.

Cute little place for coffee, pastries, salads, and some light food (hotdogs). The pastries look fresh and there’s a good number of options. I would have loved for them to be less wasteful with all the plastic and provide real plates and silverware when dining in.

my favorite bakery in Newport, Rhode Island. right across the street from the historic Viking hotel on Bellevue.
Great coffee, amazing pastries – toasted ham and cheese croissant is fire.

Very cosy place always happy
Came in Saturday evening one hour before closing, and they were putting a lot of the baked goods away. The male barista/cashier was over it, and the female employee gave a very empty and hollow "hello, how are you." Perhaps need more staff if they're overworked, but the vibe was really off-putting. $8 for a chai latte and apple turnover. I didn't mind the price, but I minded the absence of any friendliness and customer service. Won't return.

Pork sandwich was different in which it had a lot of onions with cheese, came with potato salad, regular salad, and cole slaw that had a bland taste.

Great little find. Pastries are fantastic! Croissant sandwiches are a good deal for the quantity and the product is very fresh.. We loved the coffee and the staff were very helpful and accommodating! Thank you to you all for providing such a great “little” place!! You do miracles in that small space! Soo Clean too!!!!

I like this place a lot. I just wish the food was more consistent. I've been there a bunch and I get the same thing everytime, the chicken salad sandwich. Most of the time it's great, but recently it's been inconsistent. Lacking in flavor or the ingredients don't taste that fresh.
The service is great. Mars is awesome and so friendly.
The ordering situation is a bit of a nightmare. There's no clear way to form a line and there's no one managing it so the customers get fussy and things get tense.
The seating area in the back is comfy and cute.
The picnic baskets are overpriced as you can the same ones on Amazon for half the price. Not sure why they're marking them up so much..

My favorite spot we visited in the downtown Newport area. ?? Better value than other restaurants off Thames and cozy vibes. ?
