Great neighborhood bar with good food. Got the aviator cocktail, which was very good. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. They didn't have a lot of cocktail options. Food menu was mainly subs and sandwich melts. I got an Italian grinder which was quite good too. Overall good experience.

The Protective Club is the absolute perfect neighborhood bar! Members receive a discount on purchases, but everyone is welcomed. The sandwiches are delicious and well crafted. The meats are freshly sliced. Drinks range from the classics to Scott's specials. The holiday selection is excellent! Additionally, this new business is already fundraising and giving back to the community! The 5th Ward of Newport welcomes our wonderful new neighborhood bar!

Newly renovated club is own to the public as well as members. It's bright & cozy seating, bar is beautiful and board games are out for enjoyment. The menu offers bar snacks and sandwiches. We tried the Italian & Turkey both were big and delicious.

Clean inviting bar with a beautiful decor. Bartenders are friendly and cocktails are tasty! I tried a classic Negroni and my friend had wine.we talked to the bartender about seeing Dead and Company at Fenway last weekend. John Mayer is legit! I'll keep coming back. Hopefully the start a food program soon. Possible partnership with Wally's?
