From the moment we interacted with Nicole and the team, we knew we were dealing with a top-notch professional organization. Their assistance in choosing the right venue—Linden Place in Bristol—was invaluable. Several checkpoint calls helped us stay on track and capture all those details, big and small, that made our day special. The tasting process revealed excellent choices for appetizers, meals, and desserts, making our decisions easy. On the day of our reception, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The team was impressive in size, and every server, bartender, and kitchen staff member was friendly and professional. The hors d'oeuvres, meals, and desserts were delicious. Special mention to our dedicated newlywed attendants who catered to our every need. Wailynn, our on-site coordinator, was incredible. From setting up and breaking down the mansion for our cocktail hour to managing the Carriage-house/ballroom for the reception, she was attentive, energetic, and radiated positive energy—simply amazing from start to finish. Thanks to Russell Morin, we, along with our guests, enjoyed an exceptional experience. Our expectations were exceeded, and many of our guests complimented us on the reception, inquiring about Russell Morin. We were happy to refer them! Thanks again for making our day so special. We couldn't be happier!

We had the pleasure of having our wedding catered by Russell Morin and we had an absolutely amazing experience with them from start to finish. Our coordinator, Nicole Sacco, was PHENOMENAL!!! From the beginning she walked us through every step and made sure everything was organized and talked through all of our id to make sure they were executed properly. She met with us several times to go over all of our options and to ensure she understood our vision for the day. She always responded to our emails in a timely manner. She was absolutely key in making sure our wedding day flowed perfectly and went off without a hitch. I cannot say enough good things about Nicole! I am truly grateful she was our coordinator for our big day. The food was absolutely incredible. When we went for our tasting absolutely everything was delicious which made it challenging to narrow down our choices for our wedding. I am a very picky food person being that I work in the food industry myself and the food was creative, delicious, and artfully presented. At our wedding many of our guests were also industry professionals and everyone kept raving about how exceptional the food was. I would highly recommend Russell Morin to everyone planing an event!

I have very mixed feelings about Morins. We worked with Morins at Mt Hope Farm for our September 2023 wedding. First of all, the catering team was amazing. The food was great and the team themselves were all great. We had a day-of person that was also wonderful, we have no complaints about anyone on the catering team.The events team was really disappointing. We initially toured the venue with Liana who was our main POC for the initial process.To give background, there are two different wedding locations at MHF and we were interested in Cove Cabin. There's also a second location (The Barn) that is close to several bed and breakfasts on the property. We were interested in renting out the B&Bs at Mount Hope Farm for our wedding party to get ready but were concerned about another wedding on the property. We didn't want to interfere with their wedding and vice versa. Before signing the contract, we had several conversations with Liana in which we were repeatedly told that it wouldn't be an issue. Liana promised us that we would be able to coordinate with another wedding and it's never been a problem.Before reserving the B&Bs as well, we had another conversation with Liana about our concerns about our wedding party intruding upon the Barn. Liana mentioned that they stagger wedding times so as to not have any overlap between the two weddings. We were recommended by Liana to schedule the wedding at 4:30pm and were told that the Barn wedding will most likely start later, as that's normally how they schedule their weddings. They also would not confirm whether or not they had a wedding reserved at that property.Months later (after we'd emailed a few times to ask about the second wedding), we were told they DID have a Barn wedding booked on that date and their wedding wanted to start at 3pm. Because of this, we were going to need to leave the B&Bs at 1:50. At this point, we’d already had the 4:30pm start time on our website and save the dates and couldn’t adjust. We were also working with a different person and never spoke with Liana again.We ended up needing to move our start time back by two and a half hours to accommodate the second wedding and paid over $700 to vendors to accommodate moving hair and makeup and photos earlier.After expressing frustration with Morins, they offered a free peach sangria signature cocktail. We weren't planning on having a signature cocktail so it didn't feel like it was adequately addressing the issue. We asked if we could switch the peach sangria to another cocktail and were told no. After a lot of back and forth, they did offer to change the signature cocktail.For the exorbitant amount of money we paid to Morins for our wedding, the customer service was disappointing. There was almost no acknowledgement of the mistake and they never really apologized. The wedding was great and in the end, there weren't any other major mishaps but the miscommunication was one of the biggest stressors of the wedding planning process.Obviously, it's hard to do a wedding in RI and avoid working with Morins but if you can, I would recommend it. The three stars is partially due to the catering team, who were great. I would not work with the events team again if I could avoid it.

We cannot say enough good things about Morins, our fantastic coordinator Maggie and her whole team. Every single guest complimented us on the delicious food and the friendly staff! Maggie was incredibly kind and resourceful, full of helpful advice, and kept the day running smoothly and on schedule without ever interrupting any special moment. Our newlywed attendant Janet was also so kind and helpful and even removed a few stains from my dress throughout the night.Morins truly allowed us to relax and enjoy one of the best days of our lives!

We got married at the Providence Public Library and had Russell Morin Catering & Events cater our event and had a wonderful experience!! Maggie was a fantastic coordinator! She was attentive, thorough, and just genuinely excited for us while helping us plan our big day, and was extremely helpful in making sure we had everything we needed during our wedding. Janet and Hannah were angels, helping me with my bustle, making sure we were eating, even offering flip flops during the reception just in case! The food was HANDS DOWN amazing. We even had a great experience during our tasting! Strongly recommend the fish and chips cone for an app. Overall, RMC is the best. If you want amazing food, great service, and a friendly staff on your special day book them!

Yummy breakfast! Bright, clean space. Mostly friendly staff. Great music. Good atmosphere. Good parking.

How do you Deal with one of the most stressful days of your life ? You hire the best catera possible and Russell Morin catering is just that . From the first meeting to the day off it was flawless . Everything promised was delivered such as Phenomenal food first and foremost , impeccable service and incredible style . Russel Morin Catering is first class through and through . Take all the stress out of your wedding and hire them . Don't attend a joint event here. I attended the Revival Beer Dinner which was a great dinner but the tickets were supposed to be $55/person and my card got charged $90/person. I was paying for a group so it made a huge difference. Vue lied about the price when I signed up. I signed a sheet agreeing to $55/person and talked to an organizer about it. When I tried to dispute the final charge, they said they weren't the ones who charged me (credit card statement said "Vue by Russell Morin"). They refused to put me in contact with the merchant responsible for charging me and were rude when I inquired about it in person. I had to walk in because they didn't return my phonecalls and voicemail. Loved Revival and the dinner was nice but they are very sketchy with pricing.
