What an amazing experience we had celebrating our 30th anniversary with our kids and their ladies. Picture perfect day and a wedding! Amazing sunset could use more adrondeck chairs though. Dinner was excellent and our server was 5 stars. I highly recommend The Safari Room. Grab a sunset while you can!!
The location & view are the best in Newport. The staff is always welcoming, attentive &extremely nice. The menu is limited & unfortunately the salads are never good & need a lot of attention. Yesterday's Caesar salad had no taste even with extra dressing & there were no croutons !! The grilled salmon on the salad was excellent as well as the mushroom flatbread
Lovely dining setting with amazing sunset views. Staff was welcoming and provided good service. Food was lacking in quality and execution. For example: the heirloom tomato salad, featured out the box cherry tomatoes; the wonton chips that came with the tuna were undercooked and not fried to a proper crisp; the bolognese sauce lacked umami and complexity that one would expect from a rich meat sauce.
