my friends and i enjoyed that the bar is quite quiet and calm , we were able to enjoy our drinks and conversation on a saturday night without loud music blasting in our ears and distracting us. amazing atmosphere, wonderful staff , will visit again! thank you

Good place to grab a drink but don't bother with the food. Canned sauces and they will charges you extra for chips to finish whatever dip you get. You also cannot change individually change the different TVs to watch sports. They are all on the same channel. Not the best place to do anything but drink a beer and look out the window.

We came here for a drink around sunset. It was super noisy with a large group of kids in the side room. Service was rather slow to acknowledge customers waiting, and the bar had the atmosphere of an airport bar. The view was gorgeous but the experience was only adequate.

First stop in Newport, RI was inside the Newport Marriott nestled away in the corner overlooking the Marina we pulled up two seats at the Skiff Bar.After a five hour drive we were a bit ravenous and both selected a bowl of the New England Chowda. The NE Chowda was quite impressive loaded to the gills with clams in a rich and creamy sauce. They were served with crackers you can throw in to get a bit more crunch in each bite and I paired this with a great deal with the 24oz local beer, Narragansett Lager. All in I was really happy with this spot and the great photos you can take steps away overlooking the marina. As always people SYOY!!!

Sat on the deck watching the cruise ship folks stand in line in the sun for an hour or so. Tour guide Rick Steves always says don't be in such a rush, find a nice cafe, set, enjoy the afternoon. You know the time for the last pickup. Had the fish & chips - two large chunks of fish and plenty of fries. Topped off with some very good lemonade. All the time socking in the sun and people watching.
