We ate at Stoneacre Brasserie on Aug 8th for dinner. It was our last night in Newport after a lovely week. There was a rehearsal cocktail party going on utilizing one half of the restaurant spilling into the area where we were dining. There appeared to be well over 100 very loud guests and we couldn’t hear each other sitting at a high top for two. From appetizers, main courses, desserts to cocktails - everything was top notch. We really liked the atmosphere in the restaurant and how the staff treated us. The service was excellent and professional, and our server Tomas had great recommendations for food and drinks. We enjoyed the evening from start to finish. We would definitely come again!
I always come here when I visit Newport! The food is perfectly decadent - yet “healthy” enough if you need it to be. Ask for a “Dan”-tini (gin w green chartreuse and a lil grapefruit/lemon). I am still dreaming about that perfect burger….
