The building and decor for wedding reception were beautiful. The staff were very efficient and kept things running smoothly. The food was served buffet style with enough choices for all to find something they enjoyed. The dance floor was a little small, but everyone seemed to squeeze in and have fun!

Stoneacre Garden did an amazing job hosting our wedding after-party! The passed canapés and the Espresso Martini tower were huge hits with our guests. It was an incredible way to end our special day—thank you!

We came to Stoneacre garden on a Friday afternoon and was able to get seated without a reservation. The waiting staff here are so friendly and offered some great food suggestions. We just wanted some drinks and to share a burger but we didn’t realize how delicious everything would be. Highly recommend if you’re in the area! Make a reservation if you’re going during a busy time because I can tell it gets packed.

We came here for brunch as part of my sister-in-law’s bachelorette weekend, and unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we’ve had.
We arrived right when the restaurant opened at 10 AM and were one of the first parties seated. Our group ordered a mix of iced and hot coffees and one Bloody Mary, but it took a surprisingly long time for drinks to arrive. We also ordered our food shortly after. When the drinks finally arrived, our waitress informed us that the restaurant was already out of chicken and waffles — a staple brunch item — which seemed odd given they had just opened. A few of us had to reorder meals at that point.
What made this more frustrating was that another bachelorette party came in about 20 minutes after us, received their food well before us, and several of them were eating chicken and waffles — the exact dish we were told was unavailable.
We didn’t receive our food until 11:20, almost an hour and a half after being seated. By then, the other party (which was larger than ours) had already finished and paid their check. When our meals did arrive, they were cold.
It’s a shame, because the restaurant itself is very cute and has potential, but the service and food execution left a lot to be desired. I cannot recommend this place to anyone, which is especially disappointing since it put a damper on what had otherwise been a wonderful weekend.

Sunday afternoon rooftop party is the best thing that has happened to Rhode Island in years. So much fun! We ate downstairs after and it was really really good! Aces!

Worst food I’ve had in Newport. Shrimp Po Boy was sad. Wilty greens, wet breaded “shrimp”, and served on a soggy hamburger bun. Also got the Thai chicken salad which was essentially chicken nuggets on greens with nothing resembling Thai sauce at all. Would not recommend

We were looking for a place in Newport for 14 people, and no one had space for such a big group on a Saturday night. Finally, we found this amazing spot with such great vibes and atmosphere, where we celebrated my mom’s birthday. It was a wonderful, cozy family night. The food could have been a little better, but the service was excellent
Thank you Stoneacre Garden

the space was cute and wildly misleading. really didn’t enjoy any of the food we ate - and we tried quite a lot.
menu was sort of a mess - seafood and korean bbq combinations that make it almost impossible to make a logical meal.
lobster fried rice was so dry and somehow tasteless.
chowder was cold.
crab rangoons were ok but that’s a very low bar.
hummus was a joke of an appetizer
wanted to try someplace new in the area and now understand why we don’t.

Terrible place. I can’t tell the future strangers who read this review enough how much to avoid this godforsaken “restaurant.” My food was COLD and terrible. It’s unclear whether they even have a working kitchen or not - my eggs were definitely made from a powder. The service was just as awful as the food. No vibe whatsoever. I think I would have rather gone to a hooter’s for brunch. Avoid at all costs. With no peace and no love, a pissed off tourist.

We used to love this place when it first opened and came often. Now they have overpriced drinks. Food is decent but pricing charged didn’t match menu. They now charge a credit card surcharge which means we won’t be back. Certain things are just the cost of doing business. Maybe if they spent less money on showy art pieces like a giant disco ball and velvet couch they wouldn’t need to charge their customers junk fees.

Had a situation where my friend got defecated on by a bird nearby. Asked if she can use the bathroom to change her shirt, we got denied by the hostess and told to go across the street. I get the bathroom being for customers only but seriously? Already under unfortunate circumstances and you can’t throw us a bone? Dang.
Absolutely perfect. Excellent ambiance. Perfect food. Just amazing!!!!
