I had the worst experience of my life at this place. From the moment you walk in, you can feel an incredibly negative vibe. The bartender, a tall and rude guy, was not only arrogant but blatantly racist. This was my first time encountering such overt racism, and it was shocking and deeply upsetting. It’s sad to think that a place with “International” in its name treats people from different backgrounds with such disrespect. If you’re Latino or Spanish, avoid this place at all costs. I came here on vacation, eager to learn about Rhode Island’s history, but instead, I left feeling dehumanized and filled with disappointment. Overall, this was a truly awful experience. If I could give it negative stars, I would.

We called in for a drink the Bar Tender was miserable and we felt uncomfortable, we were the only customers perhaps engaging with us,as tourists might encourage us to go back,we won't be going back!

I did a backflip on the pool table and the owner made angry face. It also smelled like wheat thins, those weird crackers your grandma brings over on a Sunday. Those suck!

We had a terrible experience and will not be returning. The blonde bartender rudely asked if we were of age without checking our IDs, implying we were underage. She then bullied my friend into tipping despite providing awful service. Tips should reward good service, which was sorely lacking. Avoid this place if you want to be treated respectfully.

Could not make common drinks and we're generally rude.

I only put one star because you cannot rank them a "0." I went there once and experienced rude bar staff and mediocre beer, and they couldn't make some mixed drinks. I should have cruised north and had a social libation at another of Newport's fine establishments. I would recommend just passing by.
