The waiter had a bigger party in the private dining room, that required all of his attention, Therefore we had to ask for many things. Unaccepyable for an establishment of this caliber. Not sure I'll go back.
I have been to Vanderbilt once before for a cocktail. This was my first dining experience. While the food was tasty and presentation was nice, my friend found a hair in her salad that did not belong to her. The ambiance was nice but it was absolutely freezing temperature throughout our time there, which made it hard to enjoy the birthday dinner. They placed a book on top of the a/c vent but it was a damp cold and windy evening and there should have been heat on in the dining room. I can't say I would dine here again especially for the cost.
All the food here was delicious that we had. The ricotta gnocchi was fresh. The salmon was really tasty and the burger had great flavor. All the servers and hostesses were extremely friendly.
We were so surprised finding this unique restaurant in a beautiful neighborhood. Our lunch was amazing our service was amazing and the patio for lunch was amazing. We're coming back soon.
You really need to monitor what your employees are saying online. Are you really in the hospitality business?
Elegant setting in the dining room. The service was good as was the food. Noise level was low. Our chicken liver appetizer was outstanding! Very generous portion. Our tomatoes dish was good, but could have had some more burrata and some herbs and spices. My wife enjoyed her duck selection and I enjoyed my sea bass. Our wine was good. Overall an enjoyable evening.
Stopped in for lunch...We had the grilled chicken Caesar salad with fresh homemade croutons which was delightful! The buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich with creamed coleslaw was amazing and would absolutely return just for that!!
Wait staff was extremely rude, we were planning on eating here to celebrate a birthday but left due to the wait staff being so rude. We were planning on ordering a very expensive bottle of wine and when we ordered the waitress made a snotty comment under her breath and walked away. We cancelled off the drinks and left as we did not want to pay for an expensive meal and drinks to be treated so poorly. Very disappointed as all other Auberge's have been so great.
First time to this restaurant. Not a huge menu so I wasn't sure what I wanted to get but the ribeye for 2 was good. Abit expensive though.it turned out to be a nice night for our Anniv. They did treat us to dessert which was nice of them.

This place just keeps getting better and better. The dining room is stunning and the food quality continues to improve The service is becoming more professional and I will continue to visit as the menu is very interesting and delicious
Fantastic service. Host was amazing. Made us laugh with 3 riddles before being seated. Gave us great recommendations. Waiter and dining staff very attentive with storing our shopping bags for us, pulling out chairs, unfolding napkins, walking to the restrooms. Food was fantastic. We really enjoyed our visit!
We loved the historic ambience and attention to every detail. We were in the bar and there were very loud people there and our table was too close to the bar. Thankfully they soon left. The food was wonderful and creative. The pastry chef has never been to Scotland but the sticky toffee pudding was delicious anyway.
This is a somewhat perplexing restaurant to review. Since it's part of the Auberge family of hotels one would expect only first class service. I will say that the decor is stunning except for the picture lighting over our banquet inoperative. When we arrived the host stated that she was not the traditional hostess but a server filling in and was unable to locate the cocktail menu. Eventually we were seated in the lovely dining room and presented with a menu with many wonderful selections! The cuisine was wonderful and the service quite good! I think it may take them a little while before they have everything firing on all cylinders and I will look forward to that.
Unfortunately, did not have a great experience! I have been a true fan in the past. Today the food was not cooked properly (chicken sandwich raw). The waiter was wonderful in trying to rectify the situation. My complaint is with management...I expect as a consumer to get a personalized visit from the management...that did not happen. In addition, although they took two meals off the bill, I would expect that all meals be compensated. I'm a true lover of the food industry and the hard work that goes into making the experience what it should be! Once again, what falls short is managerial leadership! It's too bad, this was once a spot for me and my family.
