What a gem! This family-owned Portuguese breakfast spot in Newport, RI is a must-visit. The homemade corned beef was absolutely delicious- flavorful, tender, and clearly made with care. The owner went above and beyond with warm, attentive service that made us feel right at home. A truly special local find! 🇵🇹🍳
Great breakfast option in Newport. Hubby and I are both watching calories and the menu had some dietary friendly options that we both appreciated. (Honestly, everything we saw looked good!) Decor had a funky vibe appropriate with its name
My sister and I found The Hungry Monkey when the place we were originally heading to had a long wait - this was a MUCH better choice. The staff were very accommodating. The atmosphere was fun and relaxing - and the food was great. They even had the Portuguese Sweet Bread French Toast and Bolo's - and it was one of the cheapest meals we had all weekend.
